in which Jeongguk's attraction to deep voices becomes his biggest enemy.
"Oh, i will beat you in every single round and you know it, baby." The moment that deep voice hit his ears through his headphones, he knew he was absolutely fucked.

BTS (방탄소년단) - MOTS7: The Journey Stay Gold
❚❚►_____________________________ 4:03
Jeongguk sat in his office, lights dim around him, only a bar of purple glowing LEDS on the wall behind and the three screens infront of him illuminating the space.
He smiled into his camera lense, mug of lemon ginger tea in his hand comfortably, sitting in his big gaming chair, hearing the little sound indicating donations trickling in, questions or sweet messages attached with the tips.
It was already pretty late in the night, just past 1 am, his usual around 6 hours of gaming nonstop already done, now winding down with only answering questions, talking to the remainder of his audience that wasn't ready to go asleep yet or couldn't fall into that familiar unconsciousness for other reasons.
Jeongguk had been streaming on Twitch since he had just turned 17, being 23 now and one of the most successful ones on the platform at that, just with the want to share his passion for gaming and just simply some funny, unforgettable moments he had with his friends because -- damn, at the time they all thought they were the funniest bitches on the surface of planet earth which he now cringes at painfully.
He often lowkey wants to uhm, well -- literally die thinking about his 17 year old self, knowing that some of his viewers from back then that still support him to this day, knew that absolute cringe of a person that sometimes got way too competitive and thought he was the shit.
The only good thing his past self did was choose a pretty good brand with golden gaming for -- duh, gaming of course, and golden closet films for more cinematic pieces.
His family had called him their golden boy ever since he can remember so it honestly was the first thing that came to mind when creating an alias.
"Thank you so much for the 20,000 Won donation, jksdarling! Yeah, you missed Among us today, i'm so sorry." His mouth pulling into a little pout. "I'll stream it tomorrow probably though if we get a nice group of people as always." He lifted his mug to his lips with a small smile, feeling the still hot tea burn his tongue in the slightest, setting it aside.
He had made quite the group of friends of other streamers just through that one game that has been basically blowing up and it has been pretty fun weeks of unexpected crossovers, some more intense rounds when his heartbeat rose up to his throat, some more chill ones in which he laughed so hard his eyes watered uncontrollably.
He had been a bit burnt out by the game to be honest but just the variety of people he has gotten to know and is meeting virtually on the regular through it makes it worth playing to him. It makes him feel connected to people who he otherwise never had known in the first place.
