!!! Warning !!!: zombie pictures ahead. Nothing scary. Just a biiit disgusting, but informative.

Notes:
1. You don't have to know anything about The Last Of Us (a game which the "zombies" in this ff is based on)

2. You don't have to remember or to read everything. Just know the names of the stages of infection and you'll be fine.

3. I do not own any of the concept art or the pictures below. Credits to the owners.

1. Runners
The first and weakest stage. They are people who recently turned after contact with the CBI within two days.

Characteristics:
-their intense speed, sluggish attacks and tendency to swarm their targets.

2. Stalkers:
Second stage. Have the vision and speed of Runners, with the ferocity of Clickers (3rd stage).

Characteristics:
-they make croaking noises,
-the beginning of fungal growths on the head and face with only one eye left,
-the development of pseudo-echolocation,
-They will strafe and take cover, eventually closing in on their target, hence the name "Stalker".

3. Clickers
Third stage. A year of being infected.

Characteristics:
-faces that are completely skewed and scarred by fungus developed from their infected brains.
-Completely blind due to the fungal infection taking over their face.
-Make screeching/clicking noises to navigate around and locating things (echolocation). More aggressive, and stronger.
