It was dark out, I didn't know what to do.

I can't hear out of my ears.

I'm alone in a forest!

crunch

I stopped. I panicked.

"Hello?" I call out

"huh"

I look up and I see a white haired girl. Blue-green eyes.

"Ooo, look a wild cave...child appeared"

I could see her lips moving, but could barely hear her.

"Um...Hi, I-I can't hear you" I say

"Huh, oh" Follow me. She signed.

Its moments like these, where I'm glad I learned sign language.

I hesitated...she seemed nice and looked to be my age. So I followed her.

She led me to, what I assumed, was her house.

Time skip to at least 1 hour later

I learned her name is Adachi Toshiko. She is pretty funny yet relaxed at the same time. On top of that she's quirkless, just like me!

"Thank you for helping me" I said

"No problem" She said/signed.

"Do you need help getting home" She asked

"No, I think I'm good"

"Okay, don't forget to check out your ears. Also, you better come by and hang out with me, huh. Y'know us quirkless kids gotta stick together" She responded with.

With that I went home. My mom was glad to see and kept asking me what happened. Obviously I told her I couldn't hear....what I didn't tell her was how.

I remember that day very clearly. It was the day I met Adachi.

We spent a few months together, she even trained me to fight...

...I never saw her after a whole year.

To this day I wonder what happened to her. Is she okay? Is she safe? Why did she leave? Is she still alive?
