Part 8

(y/n) POV (honestly idk why I keep saying this since this story has only one POV lol)

I woke up and everything around me was dark.

-interesting, I wonder what time is it-

I stated lookings around but at every movement I made I could feel nagito tightening his arms around me.

"Are you awake?"

"*yaaawn* y-yeah"

I realized that he was shaking.

"Hey what's wrong?"

"Oh don't worry about me, I...I just had a nightmare"

"Oh don't worry, it's ok I'm here"

I hugged him and slowly patted his head.
He started softly crying, neither of us said anything.

"I'm sorry- I'm sorry you have to see me like this again, it's- I know it's annoying"

"I told you the first time and I'm gonna say it again, you're not annoying, I'll gladly stay with you whenever you're sad, I'm glad I met you, even tho the situation isn't of the bests"

Neither of us let go of the hug, it was really comforting even for me.

"I really love you my hope, you manage to keep me sane...even when I feel like I'm not.
I'm happy to know that I'm not alone..."

That sentence broke my heart.

-I wish we weren't in this sick game so I could just stay with him like this forever...-

I wiped his tears with my sleeve and got even closer to him.

"If we get out whatever this sick game is, I want to stay with you, so please, let's survive and escape this..."

"I- I'll try to"

"Thank you love- AH WAIT I-"

"It's ok, you can call me whatever you want...I actually wanted to ask you if you would mind if I called you clover? You're really cute and the most lucky thing that ever happened in my life, fits perfectly"

The calm way he said that was even more embarrassing than what anyone could immagine.

"I-I y-yeah...sure"

"Yay"

I blushed even more and pushed my head in the pillow.

"What if we tried to sleep? When we get up we'll have to deal with everyone"

"What do you mea- oh right, they'll be really upset when they'll find out your not where they left you"

"Yeah...come here clover"

He hugged me again and kissed my forehead.

"Goodnight my little clover"

"G-goodnight, even if it's 5 am"

We let out a giggle and fell asleep in each other's arms.

It was the best feeling in the world, his arms around me always made me feel happy.

"good morning everyone, it is now 7 am, wake up and live your at the fullest!"

-god I swear every day gets more annoying-

"Good morning clover"

He showed me a warm smile while he wore his green jacket.

"Good morning"

We both got up and went to the restaurant hand in hand, blushing a bit.

Once there, we saw everyone near the old building, probably searching for Nagito.

"He's there!"

-oh shit-

Most of the people rushed near us with a worried and angry look.

"(y/n),I thought we decided to keep nagito in the old building so he couldn't hurt anyone."

Chiaki spoke with her usual calm tone.

"Not to sound rude but I think y'all forgot his a person too, not trash to leave on the floor! Honestly I find his behavior more natural then all of yours! Yes, he wanted to kill byakuya, so? Look where we're stuck! I'm sure any of you can snap exactly how he did! For example-"

I randomly pointed peko in a corner.

"Peko, she could snap at any moment and kill someone, don't try to deny that"

"(y/n) is right, but still, his behavior is definitely not good!"

Mahiru was right, he's words didn't make sense sometimes, but he was still human!

At one point, I wasn't even arguing anymore, the others argued with each other if I was right or not, I took the opportunity to speak with mikan.

"H-hey mikan, could you come here for a second?"

I tapped on her shoulder to get her attention and she let out a squeak

"O-oh it's you- S-s-sure"

"Thank you mikan"

I showed mikan nagito's bruises.

"Is there anything we can do about it? The chains nekomaru and akane used were too tight as you can see"

During the whole process, nagito was looking at me with grateful eyes and a little smile that's always gave me butterflies.

Mikan looked at the bruises, she didn't look too worried, that relieved me.

"I-it's nothing to worry about, j-just wrap some bandages on them and don't expose it to other pressure"

"Thank you mikan, I really appreciate your help"

"I-I'm glad you don't hate me"

She looked pretty happy.

We left and went inside the restaurant to eat something, we were both really hungry.

Nothing seemed be going wrong, after a while everyone else arrived in the restaurant and looked like they forgot about everything.

"Thank you clover"

I blushed and took the hand he wasn't using to eat.

We finished our meals hand in hand.
