I walked around when I spot a girl with short fiery orange hair i walked over to her
"Hi" I say recognising her
"Oh hi im beverly nice to meet you" She said nicely
"My name is carla and oh yeah i know trust me i dont believe those rumours" i had heard about them im pretty sure everyone has
"oh yeah the rumours" She said and nervously laughed
We walk around the corner to see a boy with his bike holding something blocking our way
"Um excuse me" I said
"Are you gonma let us go by or is there a secret password or something?" Bev said sarcastically
"Oh uh sorry" he quickly apologised
"Sorrys not enough.." Bev told him
he then drops what hes holding
I go and help him
"Henry and his goons are at the west entrance so you should get going" She says
"Yeah dont want to get in trouble by them new kid avoid them as much" i tell him he's the new kid now which means a new target for them
"Oh no i wasnt-" ben said
"There looking for you" i interrupt
"What you listening too?" Bev questioned grabbing his headphones
"Ah new kids on the block" Bev said laughing
"I dont even like them i was just-" ben begin to say
"Wait..your the new kid right?" Bev said
"I said that earlier-" i began to say did she like not hear me?
"Now i get it" Bev nods
"Theres not to get?" He questions
"Im beverly marsh" She tells him
"And im Carla" i also say
"Oh yeah i-i know that cause were in the same class soical studies you were..Im Ben but pretty much every one calls me the new-" Ben said
"The new kid" Me and Bev say in unison
"Well ben there are worst things to be called" Bev said
"Agreed" i said and realise theres a book in his bag i grab it
"Let us sign this" He smiles i open it and see that no one has signed it
Bev clicks her pen and writes her name in it then passes it to me i do the same
I give it back to him
"Stay cool ben from social studies class" Bev said
"We'll see you later byee" i say and we both turn around and start walking away
"Uh yeah you to Beverly and Carla bye" He slowly waves
