Levi x Reader - Her Reckless Behaviour 2

Part 2-1

"Don't lose it! And remember we need it alive!"

"Yes Captain!" we all yell following behind the Captain.

It's been two weeks since Levi and I saw the abnormal titan. The interaction runs through my mind every night. Except for this week, the dreams have felt a lot more real.

"The titan has stopped up ahead! Everyone stays in the trees! Don't let it see you!" Levi looks back and we all nod as we land on different branches, as spread out as possible.

I land on a branch as I watch the other cadets hop from branch to branch. Before I step off my branch a stern voice tells me to wait.

"What did you see last night?" I turn around to face him, "And why aren't you telling me?"

"Levi, can I please tell you later?" I drop my shoulders in hopes I won't have to explain.

"Now," I let out a frustrated sigh and let my knees bend before falling on the branch. Levi still standing over me, arms crossed. I lean up against the tree adjusting my gear and avoiding eye-contact.

"It was nothing," I feel his cold eyes and I look up at him, "Okay fine," I rub my face gently, "It wasn't a dream," He raises an eyebrow, "O-or at least I don't think it was..."

"What do you mean?"

"I...I don't know Levi," I let my head drop, "Can we please talk about this another time?" I whisper, rubbing my forehead as the start of a headache arises.

"(y/n)? Are you okay?" He bends down placing a hand on my cheek and I look at him, his eyebrows furrowed before he shakes it away looking at the trees, "Fine," He stands up, "But I want you in my office once this is all done,"

I quickly try to stand into a salute only to slightly lose my balance. Levi stopping me from almost slipping off the branch. I tightly shut my eyes in an attempt to stop everything from spinning.

"Um," I sit back down, pressing my hands against my eyes, "I'm going to just..." I press my hands a little harder in hopes it'll calm my headache, "I'm staying?"

"(y/n),"

"Go, I won't leave...I promise," I squint up at him, when did it get so bright outside? I shoo him off watching him gracefully step off the tree, his eyebrows furrowed once again.

"Oh shit," the world continues to spin as I slowly lay my head down, my eyes closing slightly before falling asleep. Only to be suddenly awoken by the branch shaking.

I jerk up into a sitting position looking left and right. Turning back to look the other side I'm met with the large eyes of a titan. I let out a gasp before the titan wraps its hands around me. I prepare myself shutting my eyes knowing nobody will hear me if I scream. Nothing happens other than I start to feel a slight shaking. The darkness still surrounding me.

I let out a small groan as the headache pounds against my forehead. The shaking stops and I'm gently placed on a branch. The titan watches me closely, her large green eyes wide, as I press my hand against my forehead.

"What...what do... you want?"

It tilts its head, relax.

"What?" that wasn't my thought...how. I watch it's eyes widen, yes, it was mine. "What?!" confusion takes over my voice as I look back at the titan copying its expression. "How did you...when..." don't worry. I need your help. I won't hurt you.

"Fuck, fuck, fff...it's a dream," I whisper to myself, no it's not. I let out a sigh as I slowly stand up, everything still spinning. I place a hand on the branch trying to steady myself. Tell them to stop chasing me. "What? Why?" Just do it, but not the short one. I scoff as I look up at the cadets coming this way. All behind a stern Levi. "Fine," I sit on the branch the spinning not stopping even when I close my eyes. In few seconds Levi softly lands behind me his blade most likely drawn at the titan.

"Levi," I let out a sigh, "Tell the cadets to go back,"

"What?"

"Just do it, please," I lay down on the branch placing my forearm against my eyes, "Please," I repeat softly.

He lets out a sigh before yelling at the cadets to turn around. He then quickly turns around bending down next to me placing his hand on my cheek again. I lift my arm slightly and he has the same expression of concern on his face.

"(y/n)?"

I drop my arm back down, "I'll...be fine..." I let out a sigh, "I think,"

"What does the titan want?"

I shrug, follow me, "Oh, it wants us to follow it,"

"What?" moving my arm from my face I look at the titan which is staring back at Levi before giving him a nod. It reaches towards me but Levi quickly draws his blade so it's up against its hand, "I'll take her,"

Levi gently sits me up and I wrap my arms around his neck, gently digging my head into his shoulder.

Once we arrive and Levi lands I stand next to him as he keeps his arm around my waist, in case I should fall. The titan sits in front of us watching us before tilting its head before its eyes widen. I watch it slowly close its eyes, I'll let you go now. At that exact moment, the headache vanishes, and everything stops spinning. I take in a sharp breath of shock and Levi looks at me, worriedly.

"It's fine, I'm fine," I put a hand up giving him a smile, I watch as a rush of relaxation washes over him.

"Thank you," we look up at the titan as they bow their head. Neither of us says a word and they let out a small chuckle, "I'm sorry I had to cause you so much pain and discomfort. I just need your help,"

"So, you want us to help you?" The titan nods, "Turn back into a human?" Levi asks, after sh explained her story to us. Telling how she was turned into a titan unwillingly and that she wants our help in turning her back into a human.

"Yes,"

"Hm, and how do you know we can do that?" I ask, the sun is starting to go down and Levi and I are sitting in front of the titan.

"I've seen it, with...Eric?"

"Eren...and we don't even know how he does that yet?"

"Can we try it? We can ask Hange?" I ask looking over at Levi.

"(y/n)," Levi starts shaking his head

"If it doesn't work we can train her...like Eren," I look up at her, "Is that okay?"

She gives a hesitant nod her short copper hair bouncing, "Then it's settled," I give her a smile and she returns it. Luckily her features aren't as scary as that of other titans. Although, Eren's titan form isn't...anyways. I look down chuckling under my breath at the thought and Levi looks over at me, eyebrow raised.

"It's getting dark," I stand up ignoring Levi's look.

"Oh, you guys can stay there and I'll keep watch," she points over at a house.

"Who lives there?"

"No one...anymore," the titan drops her head

"Oh...I'm sorry,"

"Its okay..." her voice is soft as she watches us walk over to the house, "I think everything works in there so it should be good,"

"Thank you!" I say walking up the steps to the house, "I don't believe you've told us your name? I'm (y/n) and he's Levi,"

"Oh, I'm Tinley but you can call me Tin,"

"Okay Tin," I give her a smile, "Thanks again," she nods before walking away and I follow Levi into the house.
