Heidi analyzed the other enchantress that showed up moments prior with Demetri and Felix. The Fisherman/Bait nearly screamed seeing the woman, for once she wished Demetri didn't find who he was looking for.

"Pity," Heidi said as she circled Evangeline, "I thought you'd be prettier."

Heidi knew her words were a lie. The other enchantress had a perfect hourglass figure, her skin tight leather dress showed off well. Her bust was bigger than Heidi's, her hips were more rounded, and her waist slim. Evangeline's olive complexion held no signs of chalky pallor that the usual vampires had. Her eyes were a vibrant natural amethyst that made Heidi feel insecure about hers being red. Being in Evangeline's presence was devastating to one's self image the Volturi enchanter concluded.

"Funny, I was just thinking the same thing," Evangeline snapped back.

Heidi let out a low growl only for the other woman to match it. Aro clapped as he laughed, "Marvelous, I have a proposal for the both of you my lovelies."

"What proposal would that be?" Evie asked, her honey like voice cooed as her attention was given to the crazed king.

"We, the Volturi, deserve the best," Aro continued, "and I fear we have come to a dilemma. There is word that our dear Heidi is no longer the best."

"Doesn't surprise me," Evie mumbled as she checked her manicure.

Heidi threw a heated glare her way only to be flipped off.

"We need to see," Aro continued as he rose and stood before both women, "who exactly is the best."

"How would we do that master?" Heidi asked sweetly.

Evangeline rolled her eyes. Maybe she would fail this test just so she wouldn't have to address Aro as master. She would rather be back in Spain with her coven.

"What if we fail?" Heidi asked, secretly fearing the answer.

"We kill you," Caius spoke, before staring at Evangeline, "or we kill those you hold close in front of you and take you by force. After all we do need someone to hunt for us."

Evangeline looked down, instant regret ran over her like a tidal wave, "What is the test?"

"In two weeks we feed, whoever has the bigger tour group becomes our bait," explained Marcus.

Both women looked at each other and vanished. Heidi wanted to remain the valuable hunter. She only wanted the glory and to remain living. Evangeline ran as her mind raced. She didn't care what happened to her only that her coven remained alive. For them she would try her best to win.

Two weeks passed and the guards and masters stood waiting in the throne room. The sound of approaching heels alerted them to the return of one of the women. The throne room doors opened revealing Heidi with a group of unsuspecting victims. They walked in, with a quick head count Marcus noted there were 55 people, the most Heidi had ever brought in.

"Please stand in the center of the room," Heidi chirped as she closed the doors.

Soon the screams of terror filled the air as men and women were drained of their life source. Dead bodies laid scattered around the room and the once clean guards were covered in blood. Heidi stood, a triumphant smile on her face, looking around the area. She assumed the other enchantress thought she could run, leading to a victory for the succubus.

"Demetri," Aro called out, "it seems that-"

"-and this ladies and gentlemen is the throne room," Evangeline said pushing open the heavy wood doors with a large group of cloudy eyed tourist.

Heidi stood in awe as each person ventured into the room stumbling over the bodies that lay scattered around. Evangeline stepped around the corpses as she continued on her tour until the whole group were standing in the middle right next to the manhole. Felix closed the doors as Caius took a quick head count.

"90," Caius breathed as he pointed at the old man that stood next to a smiling Evangeline.

"Dinner is served boys," Evie cooed as she sank her teeth into the nearest victim.

The room erupted into chaos once again as everyone fed again. In midst the chaos and blurred trails, Evie found Heidi. The women stared at each other.

"I should apologize," Evie said, "but I don't feel like it." Once those words left Evie's mouth, she grabbed Heidi by her head and quickly ripped it from her body. Evie flicked her lighter and threw it on the body of the old enchantress.

"Good bye Heidi," Evie said as she placed the Volturi crest around her neck, "you won't be missed."
