JADE'S POV
I was laying in Aaron's bed. He and I grew closer and closer. I told him I slept with Vinnie the night it happened. He seemed really happy for me and we just texted non-stop.
Also, me and Vinnie were on good terms. Very good terms, I must say. I suggested hooking up with no strings attached or being "friends with benefits". He agreed, so now and then he came to my place and we fucked. It happened like three times already.
It was just an ideal situation for me. I told him I'm not looking for anything serious and he understands. So what could go wrong?
"What if you fall in love with him?" Aaron asked, looking at me. I rolled my eyes at him, annoyed.
"No way. If I knew I had feelings for him, I would cut him off. It's that simple."
He furrowed his eyebrows. "It's actually not that simple because I don't think you would be able to cut him off but okay."
"Why?"
"Because you already care about him," he explained and I shook my head.
"Yeah, but in like a friend way, you know? It's better than hurting his or my feelings."
"Whatever you say, sugar. It's just not that simple. I don't think you're that heartless," Aaron stated and pinched my cheek. I gave him a death stare.
"What does that mean?" I snapped. "I know the rules, so does he."
"I know but it's never that easy... Would you cut me off?"
I looked at him confused. "No. What kind of question it's that?"
"See!" he exclaimed.
"That's something different," I muttered. Aaron did the white boy face and started rolling a joint.
