Chapter 9

Sunday morning
Souls POV
I'm the first to wake up, so I decide to make breakfast
"Soul? What are you cooking?" I hear maka when she arrived at the kitchen
"Bacon, eggs, and oatmeal. We have to eat healthy for our mission today. But maka, are you sure you're ready? You're still hurt from Friday, I don't think you're in good shape to fight"
"Yes I'm sure soul, don't worry, I'll be fine" she assured me then gave me a kiss.
It was time for our mission, me, maka, kid, Liz, and patty meet up with lord death
" good morning students today you will have a mission to kill the two witches, now I hope you guys are careful"
"don't worry Mr. death, we will kick their butts!" Yelled patty"
" all right now good luck I believe in you guys!"

We arrive at the witches hideout that was in a forest, and right when we stepped a foot in, we were attacked by the two witches. Maka and kid doge the attack and maka says "let's do this" kid goes for one witch and maka goes to the other, "SOUL RESONANCE!" We say at the same time, maka was going to user witch hunter,
"Wow what a strong weapon you have! It won't kill me though-" we slice her in half like butter, huh, that was surprisingly easy.
"Goddamnit! She's as useless as ever!" We hear the other witch say "what are you talking about?" Asked kid while trying to attack her
"She's my younger sister and her powers were always very weak, I'm not surprised she died so easily! My powers are way stronger than hers so have fun trying to kill me!"
Kid and the sisters we're fighting the witch, me and maka helped too, until patty was smacked out of kids hands, she turned into her human form, then the witch grabbed patty with her magic.
"SIS HELP! SHES SQUEEZING ME! " yelled patty
"PATTY!" Yelled Liz and kid
"Oh no you wont!" Maka yelled as she sliced one of the witches hand
"AUGHH YOU BITCH" then the witch kicked maka and made her hit a tree, then because of makas previous injuries, she got knocked out.
"Maka!" I turn into my human form and hold her.
"Don't worry soul, I'll take care of her!" Kid said with a furious voice. Kid and Liz went crazy with that witch.

Liz's pov
Me and kid we're shooting that bitch up! "Kid! Let's resonate our souls! I'm sure it'll work!" I tell him, "alright, let's try this!"
"SOUL RESONANCE" we say, surprisingly, our resonating worked, and I realized something else, kid was able to use me, even without patty, he overcame his obsession with symmetry just to save patty, kid has done so much for us, I'm really grateful, I love him.
"DEATH CANNON" he yelled, we fire at the witch and she is almost defeated
"Ugh...you can have the girl" she said as she threw patty, good thing I caught her
"Patty are you ok?!" I ask frantically
"Well, my body hurts..." she replied in pain
I was so mad, I've never seen patty this hurt, I wasn't able to pretext her from danger "damnit damnit damnit" I whispered under my breath
"It's ok sis, I'll be fine" patty tried to calm me down
"Stay here with soul, me and kid will Finish her off"

Kids pov
I'm glad we saved patty, but now we just have to kill the witch, I wanted to use both girls since that would make everything balanced, but oh well.

We finally killed her and retrieved her soul, liz was upset about patty being hurt and carried her on her back. Soul carried maka who was knocked out. And because I was feeling pretty generous today, I gave soul one of the witches soul instead of keeping it myself
"Here you go soul"
"Thanks man!"
Souls POV
Boy has it been a while since I've aten a witches soul!I knew maka wasn't fully ready to fight, but she's maka. We better head home now "see ya kid!" I tell him, "see you soon soul" He waves back.

We finally arrive home, I slowly lay maka on the couch and wake her up "maka, maka, makaaaa~" she opened her eyes and asked "soul what happened at our mission?"
"Don't worry about it, we won, but I told you that you weren't no good shape to fight" I answered and then gave her a kiss, she kissed me back and pulled me to the couch with her "let's stay here for a moment ok? I'm fine so don't worry soul" she said why brushing my hair with her fingers, I was on top of her, laying down, and she wrapped her legs around me and my head was on her chest
"How was I so lucky to have a girl like you" I tell her
"Hehe, no soul, I'm the lucky one here" she while giving me a lot kisses on my face, then I gave her a kiss on the lips, my very charming kissing skills made us makeout, we made out so much, that whenever we stopped to breathe, a line of drool was attached to our mouths, in the middle of our session, freaking Blackstar bursted through our door and me and maka quickly sat up. "I HEARD YOU GYYS WENT ON A MISSION WITHOUT ME! THE GODLY BLACKSTAR?! HOW DARE YO-" maka cut him off my whacking his head with one of her books.
"S-sorry maka! Sorry soul!" Tsubaki apologized after Blackstar came in.

Tsubakis pov
*sigh*
Blackstar is very upset that he didn't get to go on a mission with the rest of the gang, he's always like this

Makas pov
Gosh, blackstar can be so annoying sometimes, he interrupted us while we were...busy!
"What did you guys come here for?" I ask them
"Blackstar was a little grumpy about not being able to go to the mission" Tsubaki answered
"a little?!" I say back It sounded like he was gonna break his vocal cords from yelling!
"S-sorry again maka, he's a little rough on everyone"
Gosh I wish Tsubaki didn't say that because then soul said "don't worry Tsubaki, maka likes it rough anyways."
"MAKA CHOP!!!" I hit souls head with my book and my face turns really red! I look and blackstar and Tsubaki, blackstar seemed lost and Tsubaki had a shocked face. This is so embarrassing! I cover my face with my hands and soul wraps his arm around me "haha, sorry maka, i just had to say that" he tells everyone
"Waddaya mean she like it rou-OH!" Blackstar realized what soul meant.
"So that means you guys..." Tsubaki was about to ask
"Yep, twice actually!" Soul answered like he won an award
"Woah soul that's so cool!" Blackstar shouts
"Blackstar!" Tsubaki yells at him
"I know right!" Soul starts chattering away with blackstar
"A-anyways, how has your day been?" I ask to try to change the subject
"..."
"Tsubaki?"
"Oh uh, so uhh, what was it like? Sorry for asking! Just curious!"
"Oh uh, it was nice" I answered with a smile "by the way, want some tea?"
"Sure!"
I get some tea for me and tsubaki and we decide to go out shopping with the girls and buy some cute clothes, I buy this black dress with pink roses on them. Later, we all eat at a cafe,
"So how are you feeling patty?" I ask her
"I'm a little sore, but this yummy ice cream is helping get the pain away!" She says while smothering her face with ice cream.
"That's good to hear" I tell her
After hanging out tsubaki and Blackstar head home and me and soul have a movie night together, it was souls turn to chose a movie and he chose a really scary one, we sat together with with his arm around me and a blanket, eating popcorn, until this jump-scare happens and I shriek and hid my face in souls chest
Souls POV
Stay cool man, don't freak out. She literally just did the cutest this ever, what should I do?
"Maka, that was literally one of the cutest thing ever, your cuteness is gonna kill me" I tell her in a sort of cool tone, I was trying not to show how excited I actually was.
She blushed and smiled at me, then gave me a kiss
"Whenever you get scared, do exactly what you just did."
"like this?" She wraps her arms around mine, and makes me blush, it's kind of embarrassing, but most of the things she does makes me blush. The movie ends and it's time for us to sleep.
"Maka, what if I wasn't your partner, what if I had a different meister? Would you still love me?"
She was quiet for a moment and she shed a tear and layed on top of me
"I don't want to imagine you being with someone else! You're mine, and mine only soul!"
"Sorry if I made you sad maka" I tell her as I rub her head. Then we fell asleep holding each other.
