Fallen [Sooshu]

Part 29 | Vanished

Every day and every night Soojin was inside Shuhua's room always there by the younger ones side waiting for the younger to open her eyes.

The four feathers that were all black and dying turned to ashes as the day passes by and by that Minnie was starting to get worried even more. "Soojin sleep for awhile." Miyeon tap Soojin's shoulder as the engineer was staring at Shuhua's face while holding the younger ones hand tightly, hoping that the latter would wake up soon.

"Shuhua should be awake by now but why isn't she waking up?" Minnie froze on her place not knowing what to reply but she knew she knows what's happening right now. It's like history is repeating itself.

Minnie remained silent as she and Yuqi stood in line waiting for their food. "You became quiet ever since Shuhua's feather turned into ashes. I mean you became less talkative." Minnie mentally cursed herself for acting like this. She should know better since she's older than the others.

"Let's talk later." Minnie simply replied as she grabs the plastic that was full of food. The two walked their way through the silent hallway but they stopped in their tracks when they saw doctors and nurses was rushing inside Shuhua's room.

Soojin, Miyeon, and Soyeon were forced to get out first. Soojin was crying her eyes out falling down on the ground. The two rushed towards the three. "What happened?" Minnie placed the bags on the floor as she checks what's really happening inside.

"This can't be." The four heard what Minnie muttered. "What do you mean?" Yuqi questioningly asks the older not knowing what the older meant by her words. "She can't die like this. The feathers were a warning or maybe a farewell already." Yuqi gripped Minnie's shirt as she held the older up.

"You knew what's going to happen? Why did you remained silent about it? Are you insane?" Yuqi was fuming in anger.

"Please stop." the two stop their fight immediately when they saw how calm Soojin was. "Tell me Minnie unnie what would really happen to her?" Soojin asks almost begging hee to tell her the truth.

"I wasn't sure at first when I picked up Hui's feather it was almost dying but now he's okay. It wasn't the same case for Shuhua. Her feathers were dead already and eventually turned into ashes same with what happened to my brother and after that we didn't see him anymore not even a shadow or what." Minnie explained as Soyeon calmed Yuqi down.

"Shuhua was severely hurt and with her spreading her wings. I know it drained all of her energy because I also tried it already." Minnie added Soojin hugged her knees as she cries once more letting it all out. 'What ifs' started to come crashing down in her head.

Minnie felt sad for the girl and she knows it's impossible but she hoped that Shuhua will come back to Soojin safe and sound when the time comes.

"Do you believe in Shuhua?" Minnie knelt down as she placed her hand on Soojin's shoulder.

"I believe in her." Soojin weakly said because of too much crying she was stil sobbing and honestly the four of them thought that it was cute but it isn't the time for that.

"I also believe in her and I believe her love for you is greater than anything else. She'll come back I can feel it. She won't leave you alone for that long." Minnie comforted the younger. But is it really just for awhile.

"Time of Death 11:16 pm." the doctor announced. All of them knew it already. Minnie had explained it to them. Shuhua's mortal body is gone and eventually will vanished after.

As the doctors and nurses exited the room that was the time that Soojin broke down in tears. Everything was too good to be true when she was with Shuhua and now she can't even believe that she'll not feel Shuhua's warmth.

Minnie and Yuqi were beside the bed as they how Shuhua's body was slowly disappearing into the air. Soojin rushed towards the bed hugging Shuhua for one last time but it was only the bed that was left.

The four of them watched Soojin cry in agony. "Come back to me Shuhua." Soojin whispered as if she was talking to someone above to let Shuhua be with her.

A certain seraphim watched as the five were devastated of losing Shuhua. "I can never accept this." she whispered as she immediately went back up to see what happened to Shuhua.

"Let me know where Yeh Shuhua is." she firmly said as the angel immediately run through the records. "Her name isn't here but it's listed on the other side. She's currently trapped inside. She isn't a fallen angel anymore since her body is already dead." the angel calmly said informing the seraphim.

"Give me all of her information." the ange immediately followed what the seraphim instructed to him. After the angel had handed the information to her he asks her what's her intention with it. "To free her from there." the angels face harden hearing it.

"You can't do that." he said. "I can and I will."

"Soojin just eat even just a little bit." Miyeon tried but Soojin just stared at her blankly. Soojin has been staring out of nowhere for several days already and all of them are getting worried now.

Soojin grabbed her cars keys that was on her bedside table. "I'll just go somehwere." Soojin muttered as she stood up from her bed.

"Soojin~ah it's already late at night." Miyeon stopped Soojin wherever she's going. "I just need to be there. I'll be back home safely." Soojin softly said as Miyeon just nod at her letting the younger go on her way.

Soojin in her pajamas entered the car as she drives to a place where she can be alone and where she and Shuhua loved to be.
