how they propose

bill
- takes you to a really nice restaurant and you both get dressed up
- he's super nervous the entire night so you keep wondering if he's gonna propose
- asking if you like your dinner because he wants everything to be perfect
- gets you flowers
- just gets on his knee after dessert (and he's super scared to do it in public)
- after you say yes he just stands up and hugs you before kissing you

richie
- i feel like he would do it at disneyland idk why
- you're just having a perfect day and during the fireworks he gives you those "engaged!" buttons
- "why are you giving me this?"
- then he gets on one knee
- one of the only times you see him cry, he's really genuine
- "will you marry this weirdo, y/n?"
- "oh, my god, yes!"
- picks you up and kisses you

stan
- has a really nice picnic lunch at one of your favorite parks
- he's nervous but doesn't show it
- keeps sneaking looks at you when you're looking away
- "let's take a walk by the lake"
- you get suspicious and he does it on one of those wooden docks
- there's not many people around and here's more comfortable that way

eddie
- gets the losers to help him out after richie suggesting it
- they all fly to your city and you guys have a meet up
- you're all having a charades night and then he mimes popping the question to you
- once you guess it he pulls out the actual ring
- "get it eddie!" - richie before stan and bev shush him
- after you say yes everyone does a group hug

bev
- organizes one of those things where you're on a beach walking through a pathway of like rose petals
- she has your friends and family there handing roses to you
- shes waiting at the end of it and she can't wait so she immediately takes your hands and kneels
- "i'm the man in the relationship right now" she jokes
- you're both teary eyed as you say yes
- everyone cheers and you celebrate with a big dinner

ben
- kind of like bill, does a more private dinner
- very simple man
- nervous the whole night and talks a lot and very quickly
- "ben, are you okay?"
- "i'm f-fine"
- you're seriously concerned until he gets on one knee

mike
- just the two of you kinda
- you just get food from a small restaurant and then take it to a park to eat
- he's pretty chill
- pulls out champagne
- "ooh, fancy mike"
- "it's for this" *pulls out the ring*
- "no way"
