Tokens of the Soul
I should write loads of little lovely things for you to have and to hold.
And I should hope you would treasure them;
As they are little crumbs of what is left of my soul.
But even I know that is too much to ask of you
For you do not love nor cherish me so.
And so I will take these lovely little pieces of me
And I shall give them to someone else to keep
