Oh, Brother

Next afternoon

By now Andy is gone and we are going over to my cousin's house because it's Christmas break, yay!! Right now we are about to leave the house but I can't find my phone.

"Lucy get down here now we are going to be late!" Austin yells up the stairs

"No, I can't find my phone!" I yell back looking under my bed for the 5 time.

"You don't need it. This is your last chance to get down here!" Austin yells pretty angrily.

"I said no Austin let me find my phone!" I yell, ripping the blankets off my bed. Right as I did that I heard loud angry footsteps coming up the stairs. I knew that I messed up when Austin burst through the door very angry.

"Lucy Elizebeth James!" Austin yells grabbing my arm "I have had it with this attitude and talking back!" Austin continues to yell at me. I am put over his knee

"20, understand?" He said I just nodded not trusting my mouth.

"I want you to count okay?" I just nodded again.

SMACK "O-One," I say tears running down my face.

-Skip-

SMACK "T-Twenty," I say sobbing at this point. Austin take me off his knee

"Do you know why I spanked you?" He asks sternly. 

"Yes, I'm sorry bubba I won't do it again," I say crying into his chest. 

"It's ok baby, let's get going yeah?" He says picking me up and talking me outside with the boys.

I don't know where that came from but yeah. Sometimes people just need a bust of confidence.
