Getting Rid of Gabe

Bella and Percy walked into the door of their apartment. Sally Jackson was still at work but her "boyfriend" Gabe was there. Sally only dated Gabe because she was using his scent to cover Bella and Percy. Bella's scent was always covered but Percy's not so much. Gabe is a low down jerk with a small construction job and he is a drunk. Gabe was sitting around the dining room table with a few of his buddies drinking and playing poker. Gabe took a big pull of beer before standing.
"Mom must still be at work." Percy said
Bella was glaring at Gabe.
"So you brats finally came back huh? You got any cash on you?" Gabe demanded with his hand out
"We used it all for the taxi here." Percy lied
"A taxi here would have left you with at least ten bucks left so hand it over. I work all day and I deserve whatever I want." Gabe said getting in Percy's face
"Come on Gabe lay off they're just kids." One of the other guys said at the table
"Shut up! And what about you huh? I know you work. Where's my cut of your check?! You should've just got paid today." Gabe demanded of Bella
Bella looked at him and tilted her head before looking at the poker table.
"Boys, do you mind letting me a play a few hands? I'm an amateur compared to you all but I do love playing cards." Bella said with a sultry look on her face and cocked her hip a bit
Gabe and a couple of the guys leered at her. They looked her up and down. One of the men jumped up and pushed Gabe into his seat away from them before revealing out the hand to include her in. Bella gestured to their room and Percy made a break for it. Sally came home 20 minutes later to see four grown men groaning at the poker table and Gabe passed out. Bella happily counting all her loot from the game. The one who tried to defend them, his name is Paul. Paul really liked Sally and he also owned the building and a couple others on the block. Paul was laughing hard as the others groaned. He bowed out when Bella won the first hand and paid off the apartment rent for the month.
"You're no amateur. There is no way in hell." The one man said
"Of course I am. I don't play against others in real life. I play online against people who do this for a living. You see I never stop working. I have multiple jobs but my free time is spent online. The internet is one lucrative market. I will one day have more than enough so that my family will be well taken care of and people like Gabe will be off in a ditch somewhere." Bella said with a mischievous grin
She pulled out a twenty and tossed it down on Gabe's head.
"For Percy. Since Gabe will be with us until the end of the year from the looks of it." Bella said before standing
"Hi, Mom."
"Hi, Bella. I heard all your bosses handed together and gave you the summer off."
"Yea they even gave me a bonus."
"Good. I have a surprise for you and Percy. We're going to Montauk this weekend. We'll be gone for an entire four days."
Bella squealed and ran to hug her mom who was laughing. Sally then went into the room and talked with Percy. It was decided that they would head out in the morning. That Gabe argued about using his car. Bella got out of bed and put a stop to that though.
"I told you Sally! No! I don't care what you want to do! You are staying here! Look at all the stuff you need to finish!" Gabe said and grabbed Sally by her hair
Bella was there in a second. Bella had Gabe pinned to the floor and a knife at his throat. Her eyes were dark and the room began to shake.
"You dare to lay a hand on my mother. You DARE!" Bella was completely enraged
Her hair was blowing around with no wind. Sally got up and kneeled beside her daughter. Bella was pressing on Gabe's throat with one hand. He couldn't breathe.
"Baby, stop. Stop! You'll kill him. I'm fine. We're fine. By the time we get back from the trip. Gabe won't be necessary anymore. Your Aunt Persephone promised. She said we wouldn't have to worry about Gabe anymore. Please baby you don't want to kill him. For me baby just let him go." Sally pleaded
Bella was breathing hard but slowly moved her hand from Gabe's throat. He took deep heavy breathes. When he opened his eyes, he stare at Bella with fear. Bella stood up and walked to a cabinet in silence as Sally and Gabe watched. Not even two minutes later there was a knock at the door. Bella went and opened it. A man in suit came in followed by two others in nice shirts and slacks. Gabe was extremely pale and began shaking. Sally looked confused.
"Why don't you tell my mom who this is Gabe? No? Then I'll tell her. This man is a known Gang lord known as Keanu Baxley and these men behind him are his compatriots. Gabe here owes them a great deal of money so yesterday he decided to sell you and I to Mr. Baxley for a quarter of his debt. Problem was I go to school with Mr. Baxley's daughter and we happen to be good friends. She was kind enough to set up a meeting for me where I proceeded to watch Gabe sell us like whores and no better than garbage. He would of sold Percy too but he couldn't find anyone interested in boys. So mom you still don't want me to kill him?" Bella said with her hair covering her face
Sally sat there in disbelief before rage covered her face. She jumped on top of Gabe and began pounding on him. Sally had gotten strong within the years. She stopped just short of killing him. Mr. Baxley was impressed while his minions were a bit horrorified. Paul came into the apartment after hearing the commotion and merely looked on. Paul had worked with Mr. Baxley before on prior occurrences.
"Good evening, Paul."
"Good evening, Mr. Baxley."
"Miss Jackson has impressed me greatly. I am inclined to grant her request. You have an upscale apartment you are renting upstairs I would like to purchase it."
"Of course sir. I'll draw up the agreement tonight." Paul said surprised
The apartment was the highest in Paul's building. It had three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. One bathroom for the master. A half bathroom with a shower for one room and a full bathroom for the other. The bedrooms were quite large and there was lots of space in the apartment. The apartment took up half the floor. Paul's apartment took up the other half. Paul was excited to sell it.
"Good. It will be fully furnished to your requirements, Miss Jackson." Mr. Baxley said
Sally stared at them and Bella smiled.
"Mom, you have been working so hard to come back to an apartment and a man not worthy of your time. Gabe has been hiding from Mr. Baxley  for awhile now. In exchange for Mr. Baxley buying us the apartment, I would let him have Gabe and the information Gabe was attempting to blackmail Mr. Baxley with. Mr. Baxley swore not to kill Gabe but he would instead be working to pay for his misdeeds." Bella said with an evil grin at Gabe
Gabe went to scream but one of the minions knocked him out with chloroform and took him outside. Sally looked at Bella and then hugged her.
"Thank you, my flower." Sally said quietly
"Anything for you, Mom." Bella said
Mr. Baxley, Paul, and the gangsters left. Percy slept through all of it like a log. Bella happily crawled back into bed as did Sally happy for their vacation to begin the next day.
