As soon as he heard Tori's door close, Bunny leapt out of bed, and quietly opened his window. Grabbing his boomerangs and sheaths, he leapt out softly, into the night. Quietly, he took off running into the woods.

Bunny stopped to catch his breath. "Now, where did Kari say that bloody party was?" he muttered to himself. He looked around, and cursed. The last thing he needed was to be lost. All the sudden, Bunnymund heard a pumping sound. He strained his ears and followed the noise to a hidden clearing. Pushing aside a bush, the pooka's eyes widened in awe. Music pumped through his blood, and he looked across at all of the colored lights flashing, and the pookas singing and dancing. He laughed a little at two spotted female pookas, obviously drunk, singing loudly and off key while staggering around. He watched Bruce and his friends hit on a couple of snow-white pooka ladies, who rebuffed his affections. The Easter Bunny rolled his eyes. What a drongo.

Suddenly, Bunnymund's eyes widened. Standing to the side, chatting with a fiery red pooka, and a pooka whose fur was as black as night with white markings, was Kari. Bunny sighed. She looked gorgeous. He mentally prepared himself, and pushed the brush out of the way, walking towards Kari, with an air of what he hoped looked confidence.

"Hey, Kari," Bunny smiled. Kari stopped talking and turned to see Bunnymund. Her face lit up like a light show.

"Bunny! You made it!" Kari huggd him, Bunny stood there for a moment, suprised, before hugging her back. She was considerably shorter than him, only reaching up to his chest. Kari pulled away, and motioned the other two pookas over.

"These are my friends, Alysha and Robin." Kari's friends nodded. Alysha murmered hello. She was a quiet, more mysterious type. Robin, the auburn colored one with fringe that fell over her left eye,  put her hand on her hips and cocked her head in a sassy way.

"You're the Easter Bunny, right?" Bunny scratched behind his neck with his paw, embarassed.

"Yeah,"

"Nice to meet you." Inside his head, Bunny gave himself a pep talk. C'mon Mate, say somethin' smart. Crikey, tons of pooka ladies think your're the sexiest guy in the warren. You can do this. Before he could say anything, however, a pale blondish pooka with a considerable amount of black charcol makeup on her eyes walked towards him.

"Hey Bunnymund," she purred, infatuated with Bunnymund's looks, accent, and worldwide fame.

"Oh, hey Rachelle," Bunny winced and backed up a bit. Rachelle followed him around constantly, like a cat following a mouse. She moved closer, and pressed against him.

"Damn, you're looking sexy tonight," she said seductively. "Wanna go get a drink?"

"Uh, crikey, I'm a little busy at the moment, Sheila.."

Rachelle made a pouty face. "C'mon, Babe, It'll be fun." Before Bunny could say anything, Kari stared Rachelle down.

"He's not interested. Now get out of here and go throw yourself on some other pooks." She crossed her arms.

Rachelle rolled her eyes and started to walk away. "Fine. But Bunny," she turned around and winked. "You know where to find me." With that, she sashayed away.

"Sorry about that," Bunny laughed to Kari. "Thanks, by the way."

Kari smiled. "Oh, no big deal. She's never liked me anyways." Her fur shimmered in the moonlight, and Bunnymun had to force himself not to stare.

Nearby, a song started; fast tempo and a loud, pumping beat. A tall golden pooka and a chocolate brown one. sauntered up to the girls. The golden one smiled chivalrously at Alysha and asked her to dance. She agreed. However, he brown rabbit tried dropping a pick-up line for Robin. Bad move.

"Hey Baby, have we met? What are you doin' tonight."

"Not you. Now bye." Robin waved her paw and the brown pooka rolled his eyes and walked away. Kari and Bunny laughed, and Robin walked off. "I'm gonna get a drink," she called over her shoulder. "Catch you later."

The music got louder and louder. Kari grabbed Bunny's paw, and electricity shot through his veins. "Come on," she laughed. "I love this song!" She pulled him towards the dance floor.

"Uh, I don't dance, really.." Bunny said nervously, blushing. Kari smiled.

"Oh, c'mon, you big lug. It's easy!" She started dancing, and Bunny smiled. She was good. Soon, he found himself getting lost in the music, dancing with her. He was lost in her eyes, and she seemed to glow. Kari got closer and closer, and soon they were dancing only a few inches apart. Their feet moved in sync, heart beating in time to the music.

Bunnymund didn't know they had been dancing for. Minutes? Hours? Kari clutched his paws.

"There's something I want to show you." Bunny agreed. He was feeling a lot less nervous around her.

"Okay, Sheila, what is is?" He laughed and followed her out of the party, down an almost unnoticeable path. Kari led him to a small clearing, far away from the pumping music. All that could be heard was the trickle of the stream.

"This..this is amazing." Bunnymund breathed. The grass was a light, soft green. A river ran through the brush, and tall trees hid the small sanctuary from view. Bunny sat, and Kari sat next to him.

"Beautiful night, huh?" she said softly. She nuzzled into Bunnymund's soft fur, and he gasped quietly. His heart beat quickly, and his blood surged with energy. He put his arm around her, and smiled.

"Yeah. How did ya find this place, Sheila?"

She shrugged. "I come here when I need to relax." She looked so beautiful in the moonlight. "Hey, Bunny?" She looked up at him.

"Yeah, Kari?"

"Thanks for coming. I'm glad I didn't have to come with Bruce."

"Oi, Bruce, Ya know, a smart sheila like yourself doesn't need somebody like him, all brawn and no brains. Ya need somebody who can treat ya right, like-" Kari put her paw on his cheek and pulled him down. Her lips crashed into his. Bunny was surprised, but melted into the kiss; he wrapped his arms around her waist, and they both fell to the ground, arms intertwined. Kari emerged from the kiss, and nuzzled his cheek. She smiled softly.

"Somebody like..you?"

"Y-yeah," Bunny whispered, shocked. He put all fear and worry and surprise to the side, and grabbed her, kissing her again. He rolled on top of her, and he wrapped her arms around his neck. Bunnymund couldn't believe it. He was kissing Kari. By the moon, he was kissing Kari. She tasted like vanilla and honey; like the way fireworks felt. She caressed his fur, and found a spot behind his ear. She tickled him, and his foot thumped.

"Oh, that's good, that's good.." Bunny smiled in ecstacy. He loved being scratched behind the ears. Kari smiled.

"You like that?"

"Ohhh yeah mate." Suddenly, he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her on top of him. Her lips meet his, and their hearts beat in rythum.

They kissed passionately, and Kari ran her paws over his chest. She smiled, and his mind was filled with a feeling so intense that no dictionary definiton could describe it, as his lungs were filled with the sweetest air but somehow, he remained breathless.

Suddenly, he sat up. "Uh oh. The sun's rising. Crikey, I have ta get home before my mom sees me missing." He stood up, and took Kari's paws in his. "Meet me here, same time tomorrow."

Kari smiled. "I will. I promise." She kissed him on the nose, and watched as he turned and bounded out of the clearing. She watched him go, and sighed.

Had that really just happened? He was so..perfect- tall and funny and sensitive and sexy. She hugged herself tightly, and could still the ghost of his lips pressing into hers.

Kari was falling in love.
