Heather McNamara doesn't consider herself the most interesting of her friends. Veronica Sawyer is the babe-the beautiful new girl in the group. Heather Duke's got... breast implants, an ED, and the yearbook? Mac wasn't sure what Duke's life was. And then there was Heather Chandler. There are no words good or bad enough to describe her, so we have to make do with what words we have. If you asked Mac to describe herself truthfully she'd think "innocent, stupid, can be mean on command, vulnerable, and fearful". Yet Heather Chandler doesn't seem to think so. She's called her all the opposite, but never in front of their friends. In public, Chandler seldomly acknowledges her, or anyone unless she's angry or teasing them. But when she and Mac are alone the richest, hottest, most magnetic, cruelest girl in town becomes someone you want to not just tangle yourself into, but someone you'd... like. Someone you want to know without fear. Heather McNamara doesn't know what she'd do without her, so what happens when tragedy forces her to figure that out?
