Let the game begin

Beam's P.O.V.

I was sitting down on my usual table at the foodcourt. Phana was with Wayo and Kit was doing our professor a favor so I was all alone. I was happily munching on my food while going over my notes. My peace was disturbed when an engineer walked into the foodcourt. Well he is surely starting early. I just stared at him when Forth walked in pretty beat up. Let the game begin then I thought.

"Beam! Do you know where Phana is?" Asked Forth and I shook my head slowly.

"He's not here he went to lunch with Wayo. Why was wrong with you?" I said acting worried.

"I had a fight and things went a little bit wrong. I was looking for Phana to see if he could patch me up quickly." He said and I stood up from my seat quickly picking up my things.

"Oh well I can help you with that." I said grabbing my notes and throwing out the food. "Let me help you." I said going over to his side and helping support his weight.

"Thank you." He said and we started walking.

"Let's go to my car I have a first aid kit there." I said.

"Sorry to bother you." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"It's no problem that's what friends are for. But why didn't you just go to the infirmary?" I asked and he was quiet for a second.

"Ah they ask too much questions besides it's not that serious. I thought maybe Phana could help since he's a medical student. My friends usually patch me up but this time I was ambushed alone and I didn't want them to start a war." He explained and I rolled my eyes again. This asshole seriously I can't believe him. I started walking a little bit faster since I was mad until Forth hissed.

"Slow down a little it hurts." Said Forth and I complied. We finally reached my car and I help him seat down on the passenger seat.

"Where are you hurt beside from the obvious?" I asked. From where I could see he had a cut on his lip and on his forehead. He lifted up his shirt and I noticed a couple of bruises and cuts near his ribs. Damn he let his friends beat him up just for this? Is he really that stupid? Or did he really look for a fight? Either way he's unbelievable. I checked him for broken ribs but he didn't have any.

"Well you are just bruised. I'll just clean you up and bandage you." I said starting my work. He really is hurt and I don't think his friends would beat him up that bad just for a stupid bet. So he probably went looking for a fight somewhere. I finished bandaging him up before working on his face. I started with his forehead and I could feel him looking at me intently.

"What?" I said looking him in the eye and he just smiled.

"Nothing I just realized you are hot." He said and I couldn't help but scoff.

"That's no secret took you long enough." I said and he laughed. I finished bandaging him up.

"Done, you need to change it later and put some of this on." I said giving him some ointment.

"But I can't do it alone! Come on I'll pick you up after class and I'll take you out to dinner or whatever you want and then after you can help me change the bandage again. Please." He said and I rolled my eyes. Might as well get something for my troubles.

"Fine I get out at five be here on time or I'm going home." I said and he smiled.

"You're the best." He said pulling me into a hug and I was surprised. He smells nice I thought letting him hug me before I pulled back. "I'll see you at five." Said Forth and I nodded leaving.

The rest of the day seemed to fly by and soon it was five. I didn't want Phana and Kit to know about this yet so I waited for them to leave. I didn't have to do anything since both seemed to be in a hurry. I walked to the parking lot to find Forth had parked his bike beside my car.

"So where do you want to go?" Asked Forth once I was close enough.

"Let's go have dinner I need to do an assignment later." I said and he nodded before walking towards me and putting a helmet on my head.

"Hey! Who says I'm coming with you!" I said mad when he finished.

"It's easier this way." He said.

"You are hurt, let's take my car." I said. I shouldn't be nice to him but he was really hurt and I'm not that bad.

"Aww this ways faster." He whined and I just looked at him sternly. "Fine." He sighed taking off his helmet and I did the same. "I'm driving." He said and I laughed getting in the drivers seat.

"Stop complaining and get in." I said and he pouted before following my orders. I drove us to a nice restaurant that was close by. They make the best steak in town.

"I have never been here, I mostly eat in the stalls next to the dorms or in my faculties cafeteria." He said.

"I'm not surprised." I said getting in. We sat down and I started scanning the menu.

"What's good here?" Forth asked doing the same.

"I always order the steak." I said and he nodded. Soon a waitress came and took our order. Forth ended having the same as me.

"So who where you fighting with?" I asked Forth since I forgot at lunch.

"Just some idiots from the architecture faculty who were messing with my freshmen. Had to teach them a lesson." He said cockily.

"Seems to me like you were the one getting the lesson." I said and he laughed.

"You should've seen the other guys. They didn't stood a chance against me. I even took it easy on them that's why I was a little more beat up than usual." He said and I smirked.

"Why is that then? I thought you never took it easy on anyone." I said and he looked surprised at my question.

"I was in a good mood today." He said evading my question and I decided to let it be for now. The waitress came back with out food and we mostly ate in silence. When we were done Forth paid and we left. Once we were back to my faculty I got out of the car.

"Well let me change your bandages before you leave." I said getting the first aid kit.

"Wait I need to take a shower first if you do it now it will be damaged." He said and dammit he had a point.

"Fine I'll follow you to your dorm." I said getting in the car again. He quickly got on his bike and we drove to his dorm room. I followed him to his room on the third floor.

"Make yourself at home while I take a shower quickly." He said going straight to the bathroom.

I looked around his room and it was pretty clean. A few clothes scattered around but other than that everything was in order. I chose to sit on his gaming chair looking at his computer. It looked nice seems like he plays a lot. His work table looked like a mess but if you looked closely it seemed like everything was arranged to look like that. After I finished inspecting his room I decided to play a game on my phone while he finished. He came out with only some sweatpants on no shirt. Damn he must work out a lot I thought. I quickly stood up going towards him with the first aid kit. Not loosing anytime I quickly put on the ointment and bandaged his torso again when he sat on the bed. I then moved to the cuts on his face. Once again I felt him looking at me intently.

"Stop that." I said pressing the cotton a little bit harder making him hiss in pain.

"Ouch careful Beam." He said.

"You deserve it." I said rolling my eyes. Once I was done I put everything back where it was. "Well I'm leaving." I said getting up and he did the same. I was about to walk again when he grabbed my hand pulling me towards him for the second time today.

"Thank you Beamie." He said hugging me. I let him not knowing what to do.

"Yeah yeah you're welcome." I said pulling out of the hug.

"I'll see you soon." Said Forth and I rolled my eyes.

"Bye Forth." I said. As I was driving home I realize that today he used the only two excuses he had given Park and Lam. Now I need to be on the look out to see what else he is doing. Let's see who's gonna fall in love first Forth Jaturapoom.
