Beam's P.O.V.

Dealing with this mess hasn't been easy. We have had our fights and bad moments but that was inevitable. Thankfully at the end of the day we make up. It has made us stronger. It's been already a month and a half after the stupid bet ended. Now that I had time to think about it, it isn't as bad as I thought. Without it I wouldn't have fallen in love with Forth. It could've easily went wrong but it didn't and we learned from it. I guess there's worst ways to go about it. Right now we are happy. We still haven't made it official since Forth knew I needed some time. But now I'm trying to think of a way to let him know that I'm ready to take the next step.

Today I was going to have lunch in engineering since I have the afternoon off. He has one more class so I'm going to wait for him there while I catch up with my studies. I walk into an unusual sight. Park and Lam are sitting far away from each other on opposite ends of the bench. They usually sit close even share their food. Something is definitely wrong. I sit across from Lam.

"What's wrong with you two?" Was the first thing I said. I looked at Lam who looked hella mad and then there was Park looking at Lam like a lost puppy.

"Nothing." Said Lam focusing on his food. I looked at Park who was sadly playing with his food. These two really. "Fine don't tell me, where's Forth?" I asked.

"He's getting lunch for the two of you." Said Lam and I nodded standing up. I'll deal with these two after I let them sulk for a little while longer.

As I was getting near Forth was oblivious to my presence. I was about to call his name so he will notice me when a girl approached him.

"P'Forth!" She said tugging on his jacket. He turned to look at her and I just stood waiting not wanting to interrupt.

"What can I help you with?" Said Forth politely.

"There's something I wanted to tell you but never found the right time to do it." She said before pausing. Forth was looking at the food who was getting cold now.

"I'm kind of in a hurry. If it's not important maybe it can wait?" Said Forth and I could tell he was getting impatient. I was close to where he was but he hadn't seen me. If he just turned his head a bit he should be able to see me. I was about to call his name again when the girl started talking.

"I really like you P'Forth and I want a chance to date you if you let me!" She said really fast and I could tell Forth was surprised by the gasp he let out. That dummy didn't know she was confessing her love to him. I saw him put the tray with food on a bench and when he turned around he almost saw me. But I don't think he did because he walked back to the girl without acknowledging my presence. Well I think I should give them some privacy I'm not worried. But when he started talking I couldn't help but listen.

"I'm sorry but I'm already in love with someone else. I know it must be hard but there's someone out there for you ok? I already found the person I want to spend my life with and it feels amazing. I'm sure when you find it you'll realize you don't even like me that much." He said and I almost died. He's so sweet! I really love him.

"It's alright I just wanted you to know. My friends thought you were going to be really mean. But you're actually a sweetheart! Can I at least give you a hug?" She asked.

"Sure but make it quick if Beam finds out I'm dead meat." He said and I couldn't help but laugh letting my presence be known. Dammit now he knows I'm here I thought and soon I saw Forth standing in front of me with a scared look.

"Beam I can explain ok?" He said and the girl looked guilty.

"It's not what it looks like! Really!" the girl said quickly and I just looked at them both a little startled so I didn't saying anything.
