I slipped the ponytail into my bag. I made a mental note to ask Narae about it.
"Boo!" a chorus of voices sounded behind me.

Practice went well. The boys were surprisingly perky; I expected that they would be tired from their busy schedules. Jimin performed his solo part for the group that we had worked on.
"Ooh, looking good there buddy," Taehyung winked and smirked, getting no reaction from Jimin.
We then had a conversation about how they felt about the choreography. My life experiences taught me that personal preference is important too, as these boys are the creators of the song. I feel that my job is not to tell them what to do, but help lead them through the process. This song is theirs, and they should feel a part of its choreography in every aspect.
A few interesting ideas came and went, and a few tweaks were added. I tried to crack a few jokes but mainly failed. Though in the end, everyone seemed happy with what we had. Or so I thought.
I worked with Taehyung on the part he seemed to have the most trouble with, which was a twist move. He seemed to have trouble moving his leg over the other fast enough to get to his position. I worked with Jin on his kicks, which he was progressing just fine on, but I was beginning to worry for Taehyung.
Before I knew it, practice had ended and I was giving the boys their final instructions. "Good progress today you guys. You caught on to the changes quickly. A bit more practice and you'll all be ready. Stay healthy."
After biding me farewell, everyone began packing quickly, seemingly rushed to reach their next destination. I made a mental memo to have a one-on-one with Taehyung on a day his schedule wasn't so busy. I walk over to grab my stuff to leave as well. As I crouch down to grab my bag, I spot the ponytail and remember the events of this morning. I stand up, holding the ponytail out.
"Hey do any of you..." I began, turning to the group.
The studio was all emptied out except for Namjoon, who was right behind me with his face just inches from mine.
"Sorry," he grinned embarrassedly, lifting his cap and stepping back, "but do you have a moment to talk... maybe over coffee? There's something important we have to discuss."
