The minute they stepped out of the portal, they tackled me.
"The flip is this!" I tried to yell, but I was muffled by more than a few things. Techno's cape, for one.
"You guys!" I tried again. I disentangled myself from the pile of human, cloth and armor that we had created. Honestly, with only three people, I was surprised we'd made this much of a mess.
"I knew you guys liked me, but I never thought you'd care this much!" I yelped. I had the desired effect, and it was worth it. With the annoyed look Techno threw me, and Dream's barely visible blush, I started to giggle. I continued. "For someone this famous," I directed to Dream, "I don't know why you don't show your face. This conversation would be much more entertaining."
"Don't you dare," he growled back. "Do you have any idea how worried we've been?"
I shrugged. "What do you mean? I've been fine!"
Dream shook his head slowly. Techno just stood in the corner of the room, silent and unmoving.
"You've been gone for three. Hours. You spawned in a soul sand valley. You said yourself that this stupid game's on hard mode. Have you ever considered, just how many mobs would spawn!" Dream yelled the last part.
I snorted. "If you would've been so kind to at least tell me what biomes were close by, I could've been more prepared. And, if I hadn't been more desperate to get in the nether, which, might I point out, was your fault for keeping me here, I'd have known to be more careful, and I could even scout around with you guys."
"Well, if it helps, we don't exactly want you to die," Techno spoke up. "Gee, thanks, that really makes me feel better."
The communicator buzzed. Again. "By Notch, how many times will this message me? I got like, forty in the nether, and now–" I was cut off.
"That was us, you idiot. We tried to get your attention, to get you back safely. And you never answered us." Dream said, the features under his mask shifting into concern more than anger. "Well, I made it back fine and alive, unhurt. I never even checked the communicator anyways. Did you think I'd even have time to?"
"Alright, you two, let's stop this argument alright? If you really wanna settle it go to the combat room and take each other out," Techno interrupted. "But in other news..."
We walked back to the "main hall," or whatever we called it, and got the "other news."
In short: Camp Ursa, one of the smaller bases, was merging with us, Cassiopeia. Players were already hollowing out more rooms for the players. As to why they'd decided to merge, Cassiopeia was the closest base, the largest and/or most organised (I took credit for that in my mind), and the most "concerning," they found patches of black void and signs with the word, "null."
The players thought it was a glitch. But of course, that was before a block of void just appeared right in front of someone claiming it was a glitch. The players were terrified. Now, people suspect it's because of the entity Null.
I perked up at the sound of Null. I'd bought a realm in hopes of "inviting" Entity, Null and Herobrine, and to my surprise, it'd worked! All three of them had shown up one day, at the exact same time, and so, me being me, I started using it as content. I'd never really seen them in person, though. I really wanted to meet them, to get in a call with them or, well, something like that.
But hey! Maybe now I could... I shook my head. Don't get ahead of yourself, Lily. Both Techno and Dream looked at me questioningly, and I briefly explained about the realm. Their reactions were expected, with Techno demanding he be invited for "clout reasons," and Dream wanting to make an 'Unsolved Mystery' video on it.
"But we still have to get out of this game first," I concluded. "Which reminds me..." I grinned.
"I found the fortress."
Started writing this on my Kindle (got it for Christmas pog), wrote most of it over here on the Mac. Nyep, I use a Mac stfu Ik it's inferior– anyway. Writing on a Kindle is so flipping hard, the autocorrect does not know the following words: Pog, lmao, lol, *insert keyboard spam here*
Oh, and did I mention it's really hard to bold/italicize legit anything? Yeah, it just shows up with that annoying "Cut, Copy, Paste, Share" option thingy gah
Alright, that's it for now, sooooo
Byeeee!!
