"so you saying that a woman who is related to the Woods adopted you?" Sunwoo asked

"Yes." I said

He placed his hand on his chin and said" We are in luck."

"What do you me?" I asked him

"You can find out more about their family and you might find something connected to you." He suggested

"But you know I'm not related. The DNA test proved it." I said

He held my hand and squeezed it.

"Let's give it a try. They might have been wrong." He said while making eye contact

"I don't want to keep my hopes up and find out I'm still alone." I said before I left out a sob

He pulled me in and I laid my head onto his chest.

"I told you that you are not alone." He said

"Im trying Sunwoo. I just can't." I said

He pecked my forehead and stroked my hair.

"If they are not your family you will still have me. You will always have me." He said

I hummed into his chest and looked up at him.

"I think I should find Luca before he leaves me." I said while giving him a small smile

"Can't you stay at my place like old times." He said

"I wish I could but I have to ask Veronica first." I said

He sighed before cupping my cheeks with his hands.

"Can I at least kiss you?" He asked

I smiled and shook my head.

"Why not." He said" I want to kiss you so bad." He said while pouting

I tipy toed and pecked his lips.

"Is that all?" He asked with disappointment

I giggled and nodded my head.

"I have to go-"

I was interrupted by his lips. He connected his lips onto mine caughting me of guard.

Ignoring the fact I wanted to punish him I kissed him back causing him to smile into the kiss.

After we had our moment he walked me to the parking lot.

Sunwoo had left and Luca looked annoyed.

"Why did you take so long?" He asked while getting up and walking into his car

"Just saying goodbye." I answered

He rolled his eyes and said" Get in."

I got in the car and sighed.

"Can't believe my cousin is looking after you." He said" What's your motive?"

"I don't have any motives." I said

"Yeah right." He scoffed

"Im serious I don't have." I said

He rolled his eyes before starting the car.

I have no idea why he thinks I have a motive.

Apollo's pov

"Why did you adopt a child?" I asked my cousin on the phone

"Why do you want to know?" She asked

Why did I want to know?

I wanted to know why she adopted that child.

Did she realized how much she looks like her.

"Nevermind." I said before hanging up

But she can't be related to us. After all if she was,the foster care system would have inform us if she was.

The door suddenly opened and in came my father.

"I need you to do something." He asked but more like demanded

"What do you need?" I asked

"Find information about that child Veronica is taking care of." He said

I knew he was going to ask about her once he laid his eyes on her. No matter what,you couldn't deny the resemblance.

"We already have her information." I said while looking for the file and giving it to him once I found it

"Why is there little information about her?" He asked with suspicion

"We tried to find out why but it seems as if someone is keeping her in hiding." I said

"Find out who is doing that." He said and I nodded my head" and she's coming to day,right?"

"Yeah." I answered

He looked at me and he looked like he was in deep thoughts for awhile until he left without saying anything.

Josephine's pov

I sat on the couch feeling nervous.

Nikita kept on sending daggers to me white her glare.

I wished the couch could swallow me right now.

"So you now part of my family." She said while rolling her eyes" What are you trying to do?"

"Nothing." I said

She scoffed before folding get arms.

"You know,you always annoy me." She said"looking at you is so straight up annoying."

"Then don't look." I said

She rolled her eyes but smiled when her eyes caught something.

"Daddy!" She yelled

I cringed when she called her father.

Geez if I had a father I would never call him like that because Cherry said that some woman use it for something else.

"Oh there you are my little marshmallow." He said while embracing her

Then he saw me and gave me a smile which I returned.

"Nice to meet you again." He said to me

"Likewise." I said

"Daddy you met her before?" Nikita asked

"Yes at Veronica's house." He answered" So what are you girls doing?"

"We are just about to head to my room and talk about girl stuff." Nikita answered

I never realized this but Nikita is kind of two faced.

"Let me not bother you girls,you can go now." He said

Nikita turned to me and gave me a threatening look and I stood up to follow her.

Her father is so kind and some of her brothers to. How did she turn out like that.

I smiled at her and got up. Now I will be stuck with her.
