" is it fine if I invite a bunch of my friends over?" Nikita asked
" You can but no boys." Her older brother Emory said
" But how come Alaric and Luca can invite girls over?" She asked
" Because and that's end of discussion." Emory said whilst smiling
Nikita huffed and turned around.
" Josie me and your mother won't be here for awhile so we hired someone to look after you." Eric said
I looked at my mother.
She never told me she was going somewhere,she always tells me when she is going.
" I don't need a babysitter,I can look after myself...I always have." I said but mumbled the last part
" It's not safe for a 15 year old to stay home alone." Eric said with a threatening tone
Was mother okay with this?
She always left me home alone, it won't make a difference if she does it again.
"But mom."
I tried begging but she would look away.
Im starting to think my mother is scared of Eric or something.
" She's coming here at 5pm so u have 30 minutes until she comes here." He said
Eric and my mother left when the babysitter came. She made me feel uncomfortable. I don't know what it was but something about her scared me.
" You going to school tomorrow right?" She asked me while chewing gum
" Yeah,why?" I asked her
" It's nothing." She said
I watched her open the fridge and take out the packet of sandwich. She came back and sat down, my mouth couldn't help but to water as I watch her take a bite of the sandwich.
" Um, are you going to make dinner?" I asked her
She rolled her eyes and put down the sandwich.
" I didn't ask for this shit." She mumbled as she walked past me to the kitchen but I heard what she said which made me sad.
I felt hungry.
The only thing I ate was noodles which was last night but I was in class and I couldn't snack off and plus I had no snacks to snack off.
I sighed before laying my back onto the chair.
" Hey." I heard a unfamiliar voice say
I turned around to be met with a burnett.
" Hi." I said confusingly
" My friends brother are having this birthday party and we would like you to come." She said" and the name is Amelia."
" Im Josephine but most of the people I know call me Josie." I said" thank you but I won't be able to make it there."
Amelia pouted before giving me a small smile.
" You have strict parents or you just don't want to come." She said with a straight face
" No it's not that, my mom isn't around so I can't go anywhere." I said
Even tho I wanted to go to this birthday party I wouldn't be able to ask my mother. I don't have a cellphone yet.
" That's even better." She said" Since your parents aren't there, there's no one to say no." She said
Since she's trying so hard to invite me,I might take the offer. This would be my first time...what could go wrong.
" Okay I will come." I said
" You won't regret it." She said happily
" Can't wait for tommorow night." Cherry said with excitement
" You still going to that thing?" Nicky asked
" Yeah and I'm not the only one, Nick and Sunwoo are going there too." Cherry said
" Where?" I asked
" The birthday party!" Cherry yelled out
" Oh then I'm also going there." I said
" Not you too." Nicky said
Cherry came to me and asked me if we could go together and she would help me chose an outfit.
Soon the bell rang and we all went to our classes. Sadly I only had two or three classes with them.
On my way to class I heard my name being called out. It turned out to be one of the Woods.
" Hey you, I hope to see you at the birthday party." The blonde hair guy said which I forgot his name
" O-okay." I stuttered
