I sat in the guard tower alone waiting for Carl to keep his promise to come back until I looked over the railing and saw an old man and a young man carrying walkers on a leash. I cried seeing it as an act of insanity and so I got back down and grabbed a gun that was in the tower and took watch for myself and saw a walker coming up and so I shot it. I grabbed my knife and ran out of the guard tower and started running for the inside gates of the prison and ran in the prison cell block C and started running again until I found the cafeteria and saw a few prison mates. "What are you doing here Lil girl? Where is your parents?" Oscar asked, "gone." I answered back. All the guys took care of me and kept me safe even though they have no idea what a walker is. Until one fatal day came and I found my family.
Me and Ocsar were sitting in the kitchen until we heard gunshots coming from outside, the leader told us to stay in the kitchen while he looked out the window and I got up and saw Rick in the window, " I know that guy!" I whispered to Oscar. And I had joy all over.
