Seonghwa was left in his room by himself since Hongjoong went out and Yeosang wanted to talk with Wooyoung more. They left only minutes before and Seonghwa took this time to practice what to say to Hongjoong.

"I read your piece of paper and I want you to know that we can talk it out.", He smiled hoping that it was perfect but he quickly sighed thinking that it was too cheesy.

"Agh why is this so hard!", He said plopping onto his bed abruptly. He closed his eyes and turned to his side, facing the wall.

"I just want him to know that somebody is here for him and I will never...ever leave him to be alone again."

He turned to his other side and slowly opened his eyes. There he saw Hongjoong standing by his bed looking at him in shock.

"Hongjoong!? What are you doing back here!", He scrambled to get up and hoped that the other male didn't hear him. "Its not what you think I-"

Hongjoong had been standing there since Seonghwa started talking when he came back to get some of his money. He heard everything Seonghwa said and put the pieces together himself.

But Seonghwa was soon cut off by Hongjoong jumping on him and wrapping his arms around Seonghwa. Seonghwa slipped and they layed down on the bed with Hongjoong on top of him.

Tears were starting to drip from Hongjoong's eyes and he sat up.

"Seonghwa, thank you. I know you would never leave me but it makes me so happy to know I have someone else to help me. I've just felt so lost lately and I don't know what to do.", Seonghwa lifted his hand up and wiped the few tears off the younger males soft cheeks.

"I'm always here for you and if you want I can see if Yeosang can stay in another room or another inn so we can talk more often! I'll do anything just say the word.", He hesitated for a moment but then looked away.

"No no its fine I wouldn't want to upset Yeosang!", Hongjoong moved and they both sat facing each other on the small bed.

"I'm so sorry I went through your stuff I just felt that you were being a little secretive and once I read what was on your not I just felt so bad that you were going through this alone...you know that I'm with you and that I love to hang out with you but when it comes to the important stuff I feel like you keep me in the dark. I mean we've spent almost 2 weeks together and I want to spend more time with you but-", Seonghwa was yet again caught off by Hongjoong but this time it was because he had started crying again.

"I know it's not very 'prince-like' of me to cry but I had no idea you felt that way! This whole time I thought it would be better to keep it to myself and not burden you with anymore troubles but it seems like every time I do it just hurts us more and more when I finally tell you.", Hongjoong wiped his own tears and gave the other an apologetic smile.

Seonghwa got up and went to grab something from his bag without saying anything and came back.

"Close your eyes and hold out both of your hands. And stop crying, it's not your fault.", Seonghwa said while Hongjoong layed out his hands and closed his eyes.

When Hongjoong opened his eyes he immediately lit up, "I-is this what I think it is!?"

Seonghwa nodded his head. In the other males hands was a small heart shaped box full of random junk well no- it wasn't junk, it was small things that reminded Seonghwa of the other male.

Inside was a small note that read, "These are the things that remind me of you! The blueberry charm reminds me of your hair, the bread wrapper reminds me of the bun I got you from Yeosang's shop, and the small galaxy painting (handmade) reminds me of the time we sat under the stars and I finally got to know the real you. I want to keep making memories with you and to get closer with you so we can share our feelings. I know it's probably stupid to be this emotional even if we haven't known each other long but I hope you like the gift. -Park Seonghwa"

"Why did you do this for me?", Hongjoong asked while still gazing at the small objects in the box and gently placing them on the bed next to him.

"Well, we're friends aren't we? I mean we're running away from royal guards together! Why can't I give you something nice.",

"You idiot! Of course we're friends.. and I wouldn't have it any other way.", Hongjoong hugged him tightly.

There was a moment of silence where they both just stared into each others eyes, Loving the way things were even if it wouldn't last long.

When they were paying he noticed Wooyoung had a small shelf of trinkets all priced nicely behind him and he had asked to buy the ones that stood out most to him. Those things were a blueberry bracelet charm, a box of crayons, and a canvas.

Truth be told, the reason it took them so long to get a room was because Yeosang payed with Seonghwa's money while the older male drew the little galaxy picture with his crayons.

After all that he noticed the things he chose all resembled one person... Hongjoong. He thought about it for a quick second and came to the conclusion that the happiness he felt around Hongjoong was something special, but not just special... It was love. Love for the Prince of Deoleoun, Kim Hongjoong.

He wrote the small note and saw a small empty box sitting on the floor. He picked it up and put the things inside.

They were both still staring at each other when Hongjoong came back to reality and spoke up, "Um so should we go find Yeosang? ", He shyly looked away.

"Y-yeah that sounds great!", Seonghwa snapped out of his thiughts and they both got up from the bed. Hongjoong grabbed the small trinkets and note before putting them back in the box and taking them to his bags. Seonghwa got up and followed.

"Wanna go explore the kingdom? It is your first time in another place besides Deoleoun after all, once you see what a REAL kingdom is like you may not want to leave!", Seonghwa declared.

"Sure! I can't wait to see it with you." , He got quieter and they both walked out of the room.

The things that happened that day changed everything, especially from Seonghwa's view. Unfortunately, the boys forgot one key part of their journey....
