Hongjoong
The male that they had just met, named Kang Yeosang, finally got his things together and they prepared to leave on his (supposedly fast) horse.
"Hongjoong! Can I talk to you really quickly while Yeosang packs our things onto his horse?"
Seonghwa came up to Hongjoong and smiled whilst hiding something behind his back.
What is that?, he thought to himself. He was intrigued at whatever was behind the older male's back so he agreed to talk.
"Yeah sure we can talk, what's it about?"
"Um well I know you haven't really been able to experience foods outside of rich 5-course meals so I bought you something for you to try."
Seonghwa held out a small box with a cream bun inside. Hongjoong had always wanted to try one of these but he wasn't allowed to have snacks, only his meals.
"T-thank you so much Seonghwa! I've always wanted to try one of these."
He looked at his feet and shyly mumbled something.
"What was that Hongjoong?"
"ᴵ ᵃᵖᵖʳᵉᶜᶦᵃᵗᵉ ʸᵒᵘ ᵗʰᶦⁿᵏᶦⁿᵍ ᵃᵇᵒᵘᵗ ᵐᵉ"He spoke up a little but it was nearly impossible to hear him.
(A/N: yes he spoke in tiny font, I thought it was cute UwU)
There was silence for a moment then he finally spoke up and hid his face with his hands as his ears turned red.
"I appreciate you thinking about me...Thank you S-Seonghwa."
They both blushed and Seonghwa passed the box to the embarrassed male.
"You're welcome, It's only fair since you have done so much for me."
Seonghwa smiled at him and Yeosang came over.
"You guys done talking? I don't mean to interrupt your little moment but we're all packed and ready to go."
Both of them quickly nodded and stopped being so awkward when Yeosang said that. Hongjoong saw the cart Yeosang attached to the horse saddle and all of the stuff inside and laughed a little by accident.
"Is there something wrong with my cart?"
"Only if it collapses when we hit a rock.", Hongjoong laughed at his own joke and the others started laughing too.
"It's not that old.", Yeosang pouted his lips jokingly and the all got on whilst still smiling and laughing.
Seonghwa looked at the horse then at the rinky-dink cart that was older than a fossil, "Uh..How are we all going to fit on that?"
Everyone stood looking at the horse and then they remembered, this is still a horse. 3 people can't fit very well.
...
Hongjoong got an idea and walked up next to the horse to demonstrate his plan, "What if 2 people sit on the horse and one walks beside it and every half-hour or so we switch so then another person stands beside it instead and we keep switching like that. If that makes any sense."
Both of the other males stared at him then exchanged glances. Hongjoong waited in anticipation but to his surprise neither of them said anything.
Instead, both of them smiled dorkily and gave him a thumbs up. Naturally, he replied with a thumbs up back.
Yeosang insisted that they go on the horse since they had been travelling for awhile and needed a break so Seonghwa got on first and then helped Hongjoong up with him.
They saw Yeosang take out a Journal and start to wrote but they both were pretty bored. The trio had left the shop only 20 minutes ago but it felt like forever as they didn't have much to talk about.
"Sooo~ what are you writing there Yeosang?"
He closed his book quickly, "Um N-Nothing! I just got a bit of inspiration from something and decided to make a nice book out of it."
Hongjoong was bored and wanted to take a nap and so, he did. He softly fell asleep and leaned on Seonghwa's shoulder which startled the older male.
Hongjoong heard Seonghwa whisper to him, "Goodnight Joongie~ We will be there soon enough."
He nodded and then fell asleep out of boredom, hoping to wake up refreshed and closer to Gaebal.
Yeosang
Yeosang saw the whole thing happening in front of him and he thought it was adorable.
I wish I could have a lover like that, he thought to himself.
He continued writing and looked at the boys with a smug look on his face.
"I'm going to make their lives a living hell...", He whispered to himself before evil-laughing out loud for the whole world to hear.
"Um Yeosang...I don't know what that was but Joong is sleeping, can you turn it down."
Seonghwa shot Yeosang a cold glance and he kept laughing but it was MUCH quieter.
Just you wait boys....things will turn out in ways you have never imagined..
Hehe I love foreshadowing its so fun(¬‿¬). anyways I hope you enjoyed. I usually try to get over 900 to 1,000 words per chapter but I couldn't do it this time because I was having a very small writers block.
