Jake and Christian had spent the night at Max's apartment. They knew everyone was probably wondering where they were and some might even be worrying but neither of them really cared at the minute. They were still wrapped in each other's arms when they both started to wake up. The sun was lighting up the room because the curtains had never been closed and after so many years of feeling cold, Christian finally felt warm again. They both opened their eyes and instantly looked at the other, checking that what happened actually happened. Smiles appeared on both of their faces again but with both of them still not trying to show too much emotion because they didn't want it to be too much for the other person.

"Do you want to know something?" Asked Christian, still smiling.

"Sure" answered Jake, intrigued. Christian then leaned in so his mouth was next to Jake's ear and whispered something which caused Jake to smile even more. Christian then moved back to his original position and watched Jake's reaction to what he had said. "You found out how old you are."

"I did" said Christian.

"Jesus you're old" replied Jake, mocking Christian in a friendly way.

"Shut up" said Christian, smiling harder and shoving Jake's shoulder. Christian then started to sit up. "Come on Pup, we better be getting back to everyone else."

"Wait" replied Jake, grabbing ahold of Christian's wrist and stopping him from getting out of bed. "Before we leave, I want to know something else."

"Okay" said Christian, getting back into position again. "What is it that you want to know?"

"Now that I think about it, it sounds really cheesy" replied Jake.

"Come on, out with it" said Christian.

"Alright" replied Jake. He waited a little bit before speaking again, still thinking about whether he should ask or not. He finally decided that he would and he instantly became serious, looking straight into Christian's eyes. "Are you always going to be here? With us... with me?"

"Now and forever" said Christian, not hesitating to answer. This caused both of them to smile again and Jake leaned in and kissed Christian once more just like he had the previous night.

Jake and Christian, after spending a couple more minutes in bed, both got up and got ready. They shared a shower to be quick and then redressed in the same clothes they had wore yesterday. Jake then collected the remaining supplied they hadn't packed yet whilst Christian put everything back to where it was in the spare room. By the time they were done it was around half 9 in the morning and both of them were now receiving calls and texts messages asking where they were and if they were okay. Neither of the answered any of the notifications they got because they were about to be on their way to Lu's house now so everyone was going to see them soon anyway. They both picked up a supply bag each and then headed out the door.

"How is everything going down there?" Asked Lucas. He was currently at The Church and he was referring to the baby-vampires being trained and more people being converted in rooms beneath the main building.

"Everything is going to plan" answered Kat. "We're getting more and more people every day and the new vampires couldn't be more stronger."

"You mean everything is going to plan apart from Christian and his accomplices still being out there" said Lucas, raising an eyebrow at Kat.

"Yes" replied Kat whilst sighing. "We still don't know where they are but I have people out there looking for them as we speak."

"Well I suppose that's the best I can ask for" said Lucas, now sighing as well.
