~chapter seventeen~

It's been a few days and all of the Hargreeves have been acting different to Y/n.  They have been acting as if they been trying to hide to hide something.  "Hey Y/n!" Vanya calls out from behind the front door.  She turns around and walks over to Vanya.  "Hmm?" She hums in a response and Vanya pulls her to a couch.  "You won't believe this!" Vanya says excitedly.  Y/n looks at her waiting for her to speak.  "So, I have a boyfriend and- and his name is Leonard Peabody!" She stutters in excitement.  "Oh my god! Vanya I'm so happy for you!" Y/n says going to hug the girl in front of her. 

Vanya then looks down at her watch and sees the time.  "Oh shit I gotta go!" She exclaims rushing out of the door.  Y/n watches her leave then goes up to her room to just lay down for a bit. She then heard people come into the house. It was Five. (another stranger things reference). She hears him talking to people. She hears Klaus, Diego, and Luther downstairs talking to him. "Five where are you going!?" Klaus asks him as she hears footsteps walking up the stairs. "To warn Y/n!" Five almost yells and them. "About what!? She's been through enough! Let her help!? Yes! But don't tell her! Do you know how much she has been through since you left!?" Diego yells at him. "Why tell her so soon? Why not wait until we know a way to stop it." Luther calmly asks. "Because Luther, I just got her back! And- and I love her and I can lose her again!" Five yells, making everyone go silent. "Fuck that's awkward..." Klaus looks at Five who is now running his hands through his hair. "Go tell her." Diego says, and Five nods and runs up the stairs.

"Five?" She asks as he walks into her room. He nods as he closes the door, "I need to tell you something." He pauses for a minute then continues, "The w-world is ending and we do not know how to stop it. I wanted to tell you so you could h-help us... please?" He says almost begging. She nods and he hugs her, quickly backing away and mumbling a thousand "sorries" she laughs and squeezes his hand. "It's fine, Five." She says a smile tugging at her lips.  A smile tugs at his lips, they stare into each other's eyes, then kiss.  Y/n melts into the kiss quickly, as though for Five he tenses up before melting into it. "I love you, Y/n," Five says with a goofy grin on his face.
