~chapter seven~

**17 Years Later**

Luther is on the moon. He comes back to earth after hearing about his fathers death. He looks for anything to bring with him that wasn't a space uniform. He nods to himself when he finds a decent looking outfit. He didn't exactly miss anyone besides Allison, Y/n, his mother, Ben. Who has been dead for a while. Angry at his father's death, he realizes that of all people he should be there. Considering he is the number one, and he doesn't number two doing anything dumb at the funeral.

Diego kicks down a door. A bunch of people are robbing a house. He stops them all. Then looks at the T.V "Sir Reginald Hargreeves is dead," he scoffs thinking it is either to get them back home. But then an amazing thing crosses his mind, knowing that is his father dead his life would be great. He doesn't pack anything and just goes straight to the place that he can sadly call his childhood home.

Allison is at a photo shoot. "Smile!" Allison hears the crowd speak. Someone whispers into a reporter's ear. "Hey Allison when was the last time who spoke to your father!?" Someone asks in the crowd of people. While being confused Allison gets ushered away. After she finally hears what happened to her father, she decides to go back to the Hargreeves mansion. The depressing sight of her old home makes her want to cry. She misses her family. Especially Five and Ben who were dead and gone for a while. She did miss Y/n, but they got in a fight after she cut herself.

Klaus is just getting out of rehab.  He gets his drugs, overdoses again.  He gets put into an ambulance.  They needed to put an oxygen mask on him so he didn't die.  He has his two hand tattoos with 'hello' and 'goodbye' on each hand.  He raises the the hand that says 'goodbye' and is about to lea e after high firing the man in the car when the news comes on.  "Sir Reginald Hargreeves is dead," his happy emotion drops.  To confusion and joy.

Vanya is playing her her violin.  Once she is done playing she goes outside to do back to her home.  When the news comes on, on the T.Vs outside.  "Breaking news!  Sir Reginald Hargreeves is dead," the reporter says reading off of a paper.  Even though it was his fifth time saying it in the day.  Vanya packs a little bag of clothes and heads to the Hargreeve mansion. 

Y/n is in a coffee shop when hears the news. "Sir Reginald Hargreeves is dead," a news reporter says. Y/n takes a deep breath knowing that she is going back to place where all her problems started. She misses Five. She misses Grace who is basically her mother, since she spent more time with her than here real mom. She misses all of her friends who are basically her siblings. She nods to herself knowing what she needs to do. She flew to her apartment opens the door and packs a bag. She knows she's going to end up staring there for a while. So she packs a funeral outfit. Then clothes that she wears on a regular basis. Which are oversized shirts, sweatpants, and sweatshirts. She nods knowing that will be enough and puts it all in a back pack.

When everyone sees Y/n they all hug her.  Even Diego which surprises her.  She smiles and hugs him back.  They didn't see her for a good year, because she never gotten over Five leaving.  "Y/n!" Klaus yells coming to give her a big hug.  "How you've been!?" He asks now hugging her tightly.  Y/n looks down at her wrist knowing what he means.  "Better." She says, even though they all know she is lying.  Diego pushes Klaus out of the way to give the girl he's never really gotten over a hug.  He hugs him back trying to fight back tears.  She feels like it was yesterday when her and Diego would spend so much time together.  Diego always wanted to be by her side in case she had a mental break down... again. 

"Hi Diego," she says he voice breaking a little bit.  He smiles and rests his chin on her head, embracing every moment.  When she pulls away from him to give everyone else a hug his smile drops, and Klaus starts to laugh at him.  "Shut up," Diego says blushing.  When he realized that he was blushing he covers his face with his hands.  Y/n also starts to laugh while looking for Grace. 

"Guys I want to have a family meeting," Luther calls out.  Everyone walks into the family room.  "Yeah?" Y/n asks biting her top lip.  "I just don't think he had a heart failure." Luther says while Allison and Y/n scoffs.  "What was it then?" Y/n asks.  "Maybe he was killed," Luther says.  "You think it was one of us," Allison says clearing up the confusion.  "Well I don't think it was heart failure, so yes," Luther says explaining himself.  "Oh good okay wow!" Diego says making Y/n laugh which makes Diego feel good about himself.  "What makes you think that!?" Allison asks confused.  "Well he sounded on edge," Luther responds.  "So he was perfectly fine." Y/n butts in making Diego laugh a bit.  "I- uh..." Luther starts but gets cut off by Klaus.  "Okay well I'll be back I'm going to go murder mom!" He leaves with some alcohol and a cigarette in his hands. 
Everyone else leaves the room making Luther feel awkward.
