[Caring Fire] Female Cinderace x Male Lucario

Chapter 8

Cinderace's POV:

We run through the forest, playing tag with eachother.

I look behind me to see lucario catching up.

Suddenly before i could reach out of the forest, i trip.

Cinderace: "AH!" I fall faceplanted onto the ground.

I groan in annoyance.

Footsteps are heard behind me, which i assume is lucario.

Lucario: "You alright?" He asks me.

He reaches his paw out for me. I grab it and he lifts me up.

Cinderace: "Y-Yeah, im fine.''

Lucario: "Wait a minute...where are we?" 

As i pat the dirt off me, i look around.

My eyes grow wide in amazement as i observe my surroundings.

Cinderace: "Wow, this place looks fascinating!"

Lucario: "Guess its a part of the forest we've never been to?" 

He begins to walk closer to the pond across from us, so i follow him.

Cinderace: "Its so peaceful.'' I take a seat in front of the pond, breathing in the air.

The sounds of bird pokemon chirping in the sky and the sounds of the water eases me.

Cinderace: "Come sit with me.'' I say.

I look up to my right to see lucario looking at me with a nervous look.

I pat on the ground next to me signaling him to sit down.

Lucario: "..Okay.'' He walks closer towards me and sits right by me.

I give him a warm smile and focus my attention back onto the pond.

We stay silent as we observe everything around us.

I slowly turn my head to look at him, trying not to make him notice me.

He looks so...attractive now that im having a closer look at him.

A deep blush rises on my face as i slowly inch closer to him.

..I need to tell him... i need to get it off my chest already..

He turns his head to me which causes me to look away immediately.

Lucario's POV:

Im not going to lie.. this place is actually quite nice.

...Why does it feel like im being watched?

I turn my head over to cinderace just to see her look away quickly.

Lucario: "Something wrong..?" I ask her confusedly.

She slowly looks at me with a blush on her cheeks.

Cinderace: "...Lucario...i have something to tell you..''

Lucario: "What?"

She inches closer to me.

Cinderace: "....Ever since we've been hanging with eachother... i've been gaining feelings for you..''

This takes me back by surprise as i can feel a blush rising on my face.

Cinderace: "I know sometimes you and i get a little mad at eachother, but...''

She looks away for a bit, then looks back at me.

Cinderace: "I...I love you.''
