SUMMER

Napahawak ako sa ulo ko ng makadama ako ng sakit doon. Mariin kong ipinikit ang mata ko dahil dito.

Ilang beses ko ring kinurap ang mga mata ko dahil sa malabong paligid. Malalim ang naging paghinga ko dahil sa kaba.

Isang madilim na silid ang nabungaran ko ng maging malinaw na ang paligid.

"Ma!"

Agad akong lumapit sa babaeng pamilyar na nakahiga sa kabilang panig ng kama nang ilibot ko ang paningin ko.

Bahagya pang kumirot ang ulo ko dahil sa biglaan kong paggalaw.

Inihiga ko ang ulo nito sa hita ko at sinimulan itong tapikin ng may katamtamang lakas sa pisngi upang gisingin.

Kaagad kong kinapa ang pulso nito ng hindi ito gumalaw.

I got surprised when I saw us inside a well decorated, and big room. Aren't they supposed to take us into some kind of a basement?

I curiously stare at my hands when I noticed that they are not tied.

Are they dumb enough to leave me untied? But...

'Are these rope marks?' I asked myself when I noticed some lines that ropes can only make.

"Did someone untied me?"

Why?

I slowly wandered around the place to look for something useful. I'm not dumb. I know that they put some men to guard that fucking door.

If only I could use the blanket to climb  down using the only window, but it's to short.

Kung itatali ko naman ang kumot sa bedsheet, masyado silang makapal. Iikli ang sheets at masasayang ang space.

Aside from the sheets, and a pair of pillows there's nothing here.

I sat on the bed with so much anger. I can't help but to curse those men who locked me and my mother here.

I suddenly remembered the time I got held by these fucktards.

Isaiah glanced at the stairs and sighed.

"I'll go upstairs. I'll check if they left some traces. Please, stay right here."

Hindi na nya ako hinintay na sumagot at umakyat na sa ikalawang palapag para puntahan ang silid ni mama.

I approached the front desk to review the CCTV footage.

She escorted me to the cctv room and asked the operator to take care of me. He asked me why and i told him the reason. He immediately reviewed the footage and let me watch what happened earlier. After that, he told me to wait because he will go to the restroom and handed me to a woman.
