You were currently talking to one of the workers who escaped from the first bank robbery in an interrogation room. Hotch wanted you to be the one talking, to help you gain more experience while communicating with victims. 

"And you were all naked at this point?" you asked the woman in front of you, holding her hand to stop her from shaking. 

"Yes. Bank manager's wife. She stopped by to pick him up. They were going to celebrate their son's 16th birthday."

"The son was with them?"

"Daughter, too. "

You went on and on asking her questions, which you think will help the team greatly. You thanked the woman and gave her a reassuring smile to comfort her as you left the room.

"I got more information that I think will help us more." you said, as you walked into the conference room at the station.

"What do you have for us, Y/N? " you boss asked, giving you deep eye contact.

"The unsub would ask for each hostages wallets', to identify them. So he would have seen their names. So, of all 13 people we know of, he puts them together. Woman in her 60's, guy in his 30's, married couple in front of their kids. But the only question is why?" you explained the information you found out. 

"Maybe they were the most inappropriate couples he could think of. " Spencer broke out, staring at the camera feed of the bank.

"Making him sadistic." Morgan added. 

You kept thinking to yourself on why he would be robbing banks if he didn't want the money. Then it hit you.

"He isn't robbing the bank for the money. It was about getting off on what he made these people do on the spot. Disgusting, in my opinion. He thinks forcing others to squirm and watch, makes him powerful. And the more he thinks that, the more dangerous he will become. Making him a serial killer." you explained your theory enthusiastically. 

"Good job, Agent. Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts." Hotch replied, giving you a small smile. Holy crap, you got a smile from your boss. 

Morgan could see your happiness and gave you a high five. "Nice one, Hazel."

 The unsub was doing exactly what the team planned, forcing people at gun point to undress and simulate intercourse, and then things took a turn. The unsub was sorry when he found a little kid crying in the corner of the building. 

"We got that part of the profile wrong. Sadists don't apologize. He doesn't derive any sadistic pleasure from these fantasies, they're more like a compulsion." Spencer said, loosening his tie, still watching the old security feed. "I mean if anyone interferes, he kills them. It's like he's compelled to direct these fantasies using these people as actors. "
