Adrien was going insane.

Lila wouldn't leave him alone.

"Oh, Adrien! I haven't been here in so long, I don't know where our classroom is! Could you give me a private tour of the entire school now that classes are over?" She asked, leaning into his arm once again, as they began to leave the school building.

"You... you were in our classroom less than twenty minutes ago, Lila..." Adrien muttered, shaking off her arm, slightly annoyed. "Besides, I've got a Chinese lesson right now, and I really have to go straight home, okay?" He pointed to his silver car with his bodyguard in it to prove his point.

Lila sighed. "But Adrien-"

She got cut off when Marinette, who was walking alone in front of them (Alya left ahead of her, on a date with Nino), tripped down the stone steps in front of the school, causing Lila and Adrien to suddenly forget their small discussion.

"Marinette!" Adrien hurried over to Marinette, who was in the middle of trying to stand, even though she was quite dizzy. "Do you need any help?" He reached his hand out to her, and she grasped it tightly, using his hand like a support barrier.

"Adrien...? Dizzy..." Marinette muttered to herself as she swayed back and forth.

"Are you alright? You might have a concussion..." Adrien couldn't leave her here! He carefully grabbed a hold of her arm with his hands, and carefully led her to his car. "I'll have Natalie send over some medics to check you before sending you home, Marinette."

"Mmkay." Marinette slurred, feeling quite tired.

"Marinette, don't fall asleep!" Adrien told her, helping her get in the car.

As he was explaining the situation to his bodyguard, Lila appeared.

"Adrien? Did you lie to me? I thought you were going to Chinese lessons and that you're not to be disturbed?!" Lila shouted, frustrated that she couldn't be the one in Adrien's car.

Adrien sighed and turned to Lila, as Marinette's head fell onto his shoulders. "Marinette hurt herself. I consider that more important than some dumb class." He then turned back to Marinette. "Marinette, please, try to stay awake. You shouldn't fall asleep if you have a concussion..."

As Adrien's attention was divided, Lila carefully backed away, and pretended to trip over her own feet. Once Adrien saw her on the ground, she quickly got up and ran to his car.

"Oh no!" She cried. "Adrien, I think I hit my head! I know it's more important for Marinette to get checked out, but do you think your medics could spare me some time as well?"

Adrien had enough. "You're obviously lying, Lila! If you really were that hurt, you wouldn't have been able to run over here."

"But.... But..."

"But nothing. Let's go!" He called to his bodyguard, and the window to his car closed before the car started driving away.

Lila growled in anger, as the car drove away.

"He... he chose that brat Marinette over me!" She said, her hands forming fists. "What does she have that I don't?"

She carefully thought through her options. Her lies didn't seem to phase Adrien - for some reason he's different from the others... he's less gullible, less easily susceptible for deception. Annoying.

But that Marinette girl...

... might just work.

Hi! New chapter is out! It's 11am, I'm tired, just had a ton of school and am now preparing to write stories for the next three hours. Yay XD

I know this chapter in particular is quite short, but I wasn't sure what else to write without another 'time skip' and I don't actually like using time skips, so... yeah XD

Anyway, next chapter will be more Lila and Marinette - oh and I hope you guys enjoyed the small Adrienette in this chapter :D

But for now...

Peachy out! 😊
