(The mood in this scene is very different, it's careful, the mood is glass. The lightning in this scene should be dark, with a blueish tint, to represent the dark of night, and the light of the moon and the stage is set up as it was in Act I scene 1, TERESLIN and VALECHKANOR are in the "house" JESLAPHINE, OAKLON and BAIRRFHION are spread out across the stage. TERESLIN and VALECHKANOR are sitting together)
BAIRRFHION: (knocks on the door) Saluton
TERESLIN: (walks over to the door) Bairrfhion ----
BAIRRFHION: Please
(beat)
(VALECHKANOR turns around as TERESLIN opens the door and BAIRRFHION stays on the outside)
VALECHKANOR: (staring into distance) Destiny is Destiny
BAIRRFHION: (holds his hand out in front of her) And so it awaits---
TERESLIN: Wait!---
OAKLON: Destiny is Destiny
TERESLIN: (turns to the face the side of the stage where OAKLON is)
OAKLON: It can not be changed for it is fate, what happens in between but not the end
TERSLIN: (confused) But-
OAKLON: Let them go.
TERESLIN: (sadly) Go dear
JESPLAHINE: Don't do this! Everything we worked so hard to protect will be restored
OAKLON: Let destiny float like the calmness of the wind
(beat)
(VALECHKANOR places her hand in BAIRRFHION'S and walk out and into the center of the stage)
OAKLON: (to JESLAPHINE) Don't do anything
JESLPAHINE: (frustrated) I'm not going to sit here while everyone let's this happen (begins to walk towards them) (VALECHKANOR is staring back at them)
OAKLON: (stops JESLAPHINE) No, this is it, stop fighting
JESLAPHINE: (begging) Please we can't let this happen---
OAKLON: (shouting) No!
BAIRRFHION: (gestures towards the audience) This is what I wanted you to see
(BAIRRFHION leads her downstage as VALECHKANOR stares out into the audience) (water sounds play)
VALECHKANOR; (in awe) Thi-this is hallucinatory
BAIRRFHION: Well I knew that you would think so, well this place was important to you in the past
VALECHKANOR: (let's out a breathe) Quagmire--
BAIRRFHION: (comes closer to her) or the---
VALECHKANOR: (deep breathe) The rabbit hole of dreams of broken wings
(VALECHKANOR turns around to face BAIRRFHION)
VALECHKANOR: (confused) What was that?
BAIRRFHION: (mysteriously )(places his hand on her back) You'll see
(VALECHKANOR and BAIRRFHION are now facing each other)
VALECHKNAOR: (suddenly) Bairrfhion I-
