chapter 14

Kamora had been back at school for 1 month now and she was beginning to feel like a burden to Gael. Gael had been carrying all her books and her backpack even though kamora doesn't have crutches and is in a boot. which means she perfectly capable of carrying her stuff. now don't get me work kamora appreciates Gael but she feels like he's gonna over work himself

but he's too protective to listen to kamora. otherwise my life couldn't have been better. Gael housing family has been more than nice and accommodating, i got to reconnect with my best friends, i haven't been bother by my mother or my sister, and Gael bought me a new phone even though i told him i was gonna pay him back.

which he is outright refusing but i'll get it back to him somehow. life was settling into a new normal and she more than loved it.

it was currently lunch time and she was sitting down at a table with Gael, Kian , Marisol, and Caroline. having causal light conversation until there was a loud bang on the table. their conversation stops as they look up at the cause of the sound and find 

Isadora

"do you know how much better our lives are now that you got kicked out the house." isadora says looking at her fake nails

"i mean it's been a month and nobody reached out to you. nobody cares about you, you're pretty much worthless." she says as her and her posses laughs

"you know what skank." Marisol started but kamora cut her off

"no it's okay. you and mother might not care about me but you guys are just two people. there's a whole world of people that can love be besides you two miserable, sorry ass people. this people at these table to start, especially this man who i love. something you'll probably never experience as well as this."

she finishes sitting on Gael's lap giving me a big kiss on his lips which she made sure lasted for 20 seconds. pulling away she gives isadora a huge smile.

"i think you've been dismissed bitch." Caroline said with a laugh

picking her jaw from off the floor she gives kamora the meanest smirk she has ever received from her sister

"you'll regret this."

"shut up that's what all evil villains say." Kian says as she walks away which cause the group to erupt in laughter again.

as Kian, Marisol, and Caroline break off into their own conversations Gael turns kamora to him with a huge smile on his face.

"so you love me." Gael ask with a face breaking smile

"maybe." kamora replies as she burry her face into his chest

"well maybe i love you too." Gael says as he kisses her forehead.

the group walked out the school building as the school day has finally concluded. conversations as they walked they were stopped by two police officers.

"are you kamora lee." one of the officers ask

"yes." kamora answered hesitantly 

"you need to come with us." the second officer say reaching out and grabbing kamora's arm

"hey, what do you think you're doing." Gael growled out snatching kamora from their grasp

"yes why is she being detained." Caroline asked putting her adult voice as she likes to call it on.

"miss lee has been reported as a run away."
