"Secrets?" gulat kong tanong at binigyan siya ng tingin ng pagka-lito habang nakangiwe . "Nuclear Bombs? Detonation Codes? Burahin ang Pilipinas sa mapa? What the heck? Uh— ano naman 'yang pinagsasasabi mo Conrad?"
"Come with me." he urged me by motioning his hand to follow him.
Dahil hindi ko na alam ang iisipin sa pagkalito mula sa mga naririnig ko kay Conrad, sinundan ko na lang siya sa paglipad niya papunta sa isa sa mga lumulutang na shelves dito sa napakalawak na library. The tiny book with gems still revolved around me as I followed Conrad. He stopped on a certain shelf and pulled out a book.
The book he pulled from the giant floating shelf had a plain maroon colored hardcover and was regular in size. I gave him a stare of cluelessness when he handed the book to me. The book felt real; even the weight of the book and smoothness of its cover were realistic. Para bang may hawak akong libro na galing sa real world at pinasok dito sa game.
"Open it." he said.
Binuksan ko ang libro at napamulagat ako nang hindi mga karaniwang laman ng isang libro ang nakita ko. Instead of paper, particles of light went out of the opened book and clustered together and created a holographic screen in front of me.
It was floating vertically above the open book. The small pale and yellowish-orange holographic window had words in the middle of it.

My eyebrows got knitted when I read the label of the holographic window and looked at Conrad. "Huh? Case 376558... L54? Anong case 'to? As in kaso sa real world?"
"Exactly." he nodded then floated away from me.
Dinaanan niya ng kanyang kamay ang isang row ng mga libro sa gitna ng shelf. The books that were touched by his hand automatically went out of the shelf and opened by themselves. Each of the books were the same; instead of paper with written contents, holographic windows appeared floating on top of them when they opened.
