"Danny, I brought you some lunch."
The nurse looks at me. a smile appears on her face.
"So your that girl that did that long speech on the news right?" The nurse says with a calm voice.
"Yes, I'm here to keep my lieutenant compony. He is one tough guy for sure." I say very proudly.
I tip the nurse caring for him. The nurse was doing a good job. After the nurse leaves, I call Pearl.
"Whats up Marissa?"
"I'm fine."
"Hows Danny"
"Good news, he's doing a lot better now. apparently, the raiders had a sniper with a Prototype R. And smacked Danny and almost killed him. He was unconscious for about a day or so. I and Marina are here with him right now."
"That's good," Pearl says. Her tone of voice sounds happy.
"Hey Commander, can I talk to Marina and Danny for a few?
"Sure"
I hand the phone to Marina. Marina still looked upset.
A few minutes later, Danny is talking to Pearl, and Marina waves bye to me. I stay with Danny overnight.
