the next day in kyotani's pov:
i woke up like any other day and headed to school i went to my class 2-f i was late to class like always bc i hate school and everyone around me i was sitting in class not paying attention and patiently waiting for lunch then.... the bell finally rung and i walk bumping into everyone who's in my way of course no one says anything because i'll beat their ass and they all know it once i get the lunch

i sit with the volleyball team and of course oikawa always has to talk so i hear he's talking about a girl he met and how she's the new manager and i already she's going to get on my nerves (little does he know💀) i start to get irritated because oikawa and his fan girls won't shut the fuck up so i walk out to blow off some steam before i blow up on all of them i go to the bathroom and splash water on my face to cool down

then it's time to go back to class i have math right after lunch which is my worst subject so i at least try to pay attention but i fail horrible so i just look out of the window until it's time to go to science this class i just go to sleep because it's almost time for volleyball practice i get woken up by the stupid fucking bell and trust me i hate getting woken up so i scowl a lot more than usual and people extremely scared i understand why but they're just acting like little bitches

still, kyotani's pov:
I walk into the gym and I see this girl and once she turns around I feel my face heat up and I get this weird-ass feeling in my stomach and I'm frozen in place I finally get the ability to fucking move I hope no one saw that, but of course with my luck, Oikawa saw me and starts pestering me "Kyo-chan why were you looking at y/n like thattt~" I mutter "shut up Oikawa that was nothing" "sure kyo-chan but trust me I'll get you two together" with that I throw a towel at his head and walk out and I see her again.

y/n's pov:
today's the first day i have this manager position and it's actually made me kinda happy today and i've been waiting for practice to start after what felt like years the last bell of the day comes and i sprint to the gym i see oikawa and he whispers "someone's excited to be here" i spat "shut up oikawa it's not my fault i love volleyball" he snorts then states "oh whatever l/n-chan" you then say "oikawa just call me by my first name i hate my last" he smiles then replies "ok y/n-chan then call me toruu" he winks i roll my eyes and walk into the gym" i start the grab all the equipment out of the storage closet and put it out for the boys to put up the net then i hear the gym door swing open and it makes a loud bang i flinch and whip around fast as sonic the hedgehog

then i see this tall boy he's about 5'10 and he has these piercing light brown eyes and it felt like love at first sight i couldn't look away for a second until his slight smile and blush turns into a scowl as he walks into the dressing room. as practice goes on I can't keep my eyes off of him and every once in a while our eyes meet and I feel butterflies in my stomach and look away really fast for some reason I feel a huge connection to him and it makes me feel weird because I've only ever felt this feeling once but it's a euphoric feeling, a feeling that I never wanna feel with anyone else, a feeling that I never want to go away.
