Jane gasps and I laugh
"Wait when did this happen?" Jane asks
"Couple hours ago" I say
"And you didn't come find me?" she says
"I didn't want to ruin your date" I say
"MIA THIS WAS WAY MORE IMPORTANT" she yells
"WELL YOU WERE ON A DATE SO I DIDN'T WANT TO BOTHER YOU" I yell back
"YOU WOULDN'T HAVE BOTHERED ME THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT" she yells
"CAN WE STOP YELLING NOW" I yell
"Yes but you should have found me this is way more important Mia do you realize what this means?" she says
"No" I say
"I knew he had a thing for you the second I saw the way he looked at you" she says
"I am literally so dumb" I say
"We all have our moments" she says and the both of us laugh.
Loki's Pov
"So your telling me you and Mia, my best friend ALMOST kissed?" Thor says
"Yes" I say
"How did this happen?" he asks
"We were in the garden and kind of had a moment" I explain
"So??" he says
"So what?" I ask
"So you do feel something for her" he says with an aggravating smirk
"Fine yes I do, now can we change the subject?" I ask
"No you should ask her to the ball" he says with a smirk
"She will most likely laugh in my face" I say and walk over to the window
"She won't I can tell she feels something for you" he says arrogantly
"Well then prove it?" I say
"I will! Watch this" he says with a smirk and the two of us leave his room "Loki do you invisible thing" he says and motions for me to do it so I do.
Your Pov
I hear a knock on my door interrupting our movie and go to see who it is.
"Thor what are you doing here?" I ask seeing him in my doorway
"I need to speak with you come on" he says and yanks me out of my room pulling me to his
"What is it this time?" I ask
"Do you or do you not have feelings for Loki?" he asks
"I mean obviously he's attractive but I just met him!" I say trying not to expose myself
"Mia be honest with me you know you can trust me were best friends" he says
"Fine I do feel something for him I just um- i don't think he feels the same" I say
"Really?" he says
"Yeah I mean we had a moment earlier but I don't think it meant anything" I say
"It definitely meant something Mia have you not seen the way he looks at you?" he asks
"How could I see it if I don't realize it?" I ask
"Right" he says
"Thor you interrupted out movie marathon can I steal Mia again?" Jane says walking into the room
"Yeah sorry" Thor says
"It's fine" I say and stand up to leave "and Thor?" I say
"Yeah?" he asks
"Tell anyone about this and the next time you talk you'll do so without the benefit of a spine" I say smile and walk out of the room with Jane.
"Well that was intense" Jane says as we walk into my room
"It's better to be feared than forgotten" I say
"How have you liked The Half Blood Prince so far?" she asks
"I like it, it just makes me mad Granger hasn't hit the red headed dumbass yet" I say and push play on the laptop
Loki's Pov
"I told you so" Thor says as I become visible again
"She's hot when she's scary" I say with a smirk
Thor then screamed like the little girl he is which hurt my ears more than I can explain, "If I'm honest with you brother I did not expect her to admit it"
"Shut up" I say
"What did I tell you brother?" he says
"You know I might just tell her you told me so she does cut out your spine" I say
"Imagine me without a spine" Thor says and bends over "Oh LoOk At Me My BrOtHeR's GiRlFrIeNd CuT oUt My SpInE" he says causing us both to laugh
"She isn't my girlfriend.............................................................yet" I say
"You really do feel something for her don't you?" Thor asks
"Yes why would I lie about this?" I ask and he gives me the "do I really need to answer that look" and I laugh "I get it" I say
"Good now, are you going to ask her to be your date to the ball?" he asks
"I think I may" I say
"You should" he says
"We'll see." I say
"Right now I best be off I need to speak to father about something" he says and I leave heading back to my room
Should I really as her to the ball? I mean I heard every word of what she said but what if... I can't think like this.
Your Pov

After watching the rest of the movies Jane went to Thor's room and I stayed in mine just stayed up thinking. If Thor says anything I'm going to have to get my nails done again, I hate when they get blood-stained. The next few days went by fast I mostly helped set everything up for the ball and if I wasn't helping out I was in my room overthinking everything. It is two days till the ball and I don't expect to have a date to the ball, its five pm, Jane just left for her date with Thor, and I am walking to the waterfall just to relax there for a bit. As I walk past the garden I see Loki pacing.
Loki's Pov
Throughout this past few days, I've been avoiding everyone and took the time to think over if I should ask her to the ball and finally made the decision I'm going to ask her. I got a head's up from Jane that Mia is going to the waterfall by Irenic, and now am in the garden because she passes it on the way. I thought I had a bit more time but I didn't realize I'd been pacing out here for over an hour
"Are you alright?" Mia asks breaking me out of my thought then walking over to me
"Oh um yeah, I'm fine why do you ask?" I say trying not to freak out
"You seem a bit stressed that's all." She says and turns to leave
Your Pov
He seems really off I can't imagine why though he has avoided everyone these past few days.
"Mia can we talk?" he asks
"Yeah," I say and turn so I am facing him
"I was wondering if you'd be my date to the ball" he says
