Chapter 7 The Orb

play "Heavenly" by Cigarettes After Sex now :)

I woke up when we got to Ronan's ship and he seemed happy?

"Mia your back" Ronan says 

"Glad to be back" I say

"Now I have a mission for one of you" Ronan says 

 "It will be my honor" Nebula says stepping in front of us 

 "It will be your doom. If this happens again, you'll be facing our father without his prize" Gamora says

"I'm a daughter of Thanos. Just like the two of you" Nebula says 

 "But I know Xandar" Gamora says 

"Ronan has already decreed that I... " Nebula starts but Ronan cuts her off 

"Do not speak for me" Ronan says to Gamora "You will not fail" he says to me 

"Have I ever?" I say and head out 

Third Person Pov 

"You seriously sent her?" Nebula says 

"She's never failed a mission sister" Gamora says 

"Mia is going to bring back the Orb and she won't disappoint" Ronan says 

"Well see about that" Nebula says and walks out 

"Gamora" Ronan says 

"On it" Gamora says and follows Mia out.

"You did it?" Mia asks as Gamora walks out ot her

"It was easier than you think" Gamora says 

The two fly to Xandar where the Orb is and once they are on Xandar, Gamora goes to hide and Mia goes to charm the one with the Orb 

"You have the bearing of a man of honor" Mia says to the man who is playing with the Orb

"Well, you know, I wouldn't say that. People say it about me, all the time, but it's not something I would ever say about myself" the arrogant man says 

Gamora grabs the orb, kicks him in his stomach and runs off, he throws something like a magnetic rope which catches around Gamora's legs and trips her up, as she gets the rope off her legs he catches up to her but Mia manages to kick him off and starts punching him, she holds up her knife ready to stab him

 "This wasn't the plan" Mia says 

as she's about to stab him, a racoon jumps on to her and knocks her down; to tree referring to the arrogant man. 

"Put him in the bag. Put him in the bag!" The racoon yells

Tree extends his roots and goes to grab Mia

"No! Not her, him! Learn genders, man" the racoon yells

As he struggles with Mia she tries to bite him
"Biting? That's not fair!" the racoon yells

As the racoon is fighting with Mia, the man uses this opportunity to grab the orb and runs off as the racoon struggles to hold Mia

"Take it easy!" the racoon yells 

Mia manages to free herself from the racoon and tree clutches, she throws the racoon aside, picks up a piece of metal, throws it at the man's hand making him drop the orb, she grabs and as she runs off the man jumps on to her and knocks her down but Mia and Gamora overpower him again and hold the man down

"Fool. You should have learned" Gamora says 

"I don't learn. One of my issues" the man grabs the orb from her hand, attaches small rocket launcher on Gamora and sets it off throwing Gamora asibvde, thinking he's in the clear suddenly tree places a bag over the man's head "What the..." tree starts carrying the man in the bag over his shoulder
