Y/n was returning his book until his ears perks up to the sound of crying, curious and slightly concerned he followed it and say Ruby crying in Wiess's arms

Y/n: why are crying?

Rwby: AAAAAAAAAAH!

Y/n: oh sorry, I forgot not to do that.

Yang: no, where's the rest of you!?

Y/n looked down to see he was missing a body and looked back to where he was standing only to see his other half waving to him as a student moved there hand over where his head should be

Y/n: oh, my apologies.

His floating head rotates as a body manifested under it graining stares from them

Blake: does that happen often?

Y/n: *sighs* a lot actually, anyways whatcha playing?

Yang: alright blake, your up!

Y/n looked towards blake and saw the face of someone who hasn't slept in days
