"Livy, he asked my thoughts about marriage! What's that suppose to mean? Proposal na ba 'yun?" I was panicking on the inside but at the same time, thrilled that he opened that topic.

"Oh my gosh! How did he say it ba?" Tanong ni Livy. She was squealing too.

"He asked my thoughts about marriage," I told her. Okay, I am fetching for her opinion because I am uncertain on my opinion concerning how Reeve opened up the topic. "Tas may sinabi siya tungkol sa singsing, wedding ring."

"Then that answers your question. The way that man looks at you, he definitely wants to tie the knot with you," Livy shrugged and winked.

"Mahal ka n'on, Yasi," Robi said while playing at his phone. Nakatuon ang tingin niya sa screen. "Palagi ngang masama tingin non sa'kin kapag malapit ako sa'yo."

I don't know if he's serious or not because he's so focused on his game. "What, Cap?"

He chuckled and did not comment anymore.

"Women," Robi shook his head and sucked on his lollipop before playing again.

"Kung ako sa'yo, 'Yes' na agad ako, girl! Madaming nakapila sa Engineer mo ano," Livy said and sent me a cheeky grin. "He's a hottie! I can also sign up in line if you reject his propo–"

"Gaga ka ba?" Hindi ko siya pinatapo at asar na hinila ang buhok. Natatawa naman niyang tinapik ang kamay ko.

"Aray kasi!" Livy laughed more when I glared at her.

Napatitig kami kay Robi nang mag-ring ang phone niya. Nakita kong natigilan siya nang makita kung sino 'yung tumatawag. But he composed himself and answered it.

"Teka lang. Kausapin ko lang 'tong scammer," paalam niya sa amin at lumayo kaunti.

Hindi na namin nagtanong kung sinong scammer iyon nang maglakad na siya palayo. Reeve went to the site. Maaga siyang pumunta roon. I wasn't needed there for now so I stayed home. Tinatapos ko ngayon 'yung digital layout ng design ng bahay ni Ma'am Delado. Then, I'll go to the office later to give it to her after I'm done.

"Sabay na tayong umalis mamaya. I have to go to Laise Corporation," sabi ko kay Livy habang nakatingin pa din ako sa laptop.

"Okay," she nodded and ate some nachos. When I glanced at her, she was frowning while looking at her phone.

Nawala kay Livy ang atensyon ko nang bumalik si Robi. He immediately grabbed his jacket and his car keys and looked at us.

"Una na 'ko, emergency," he gave us a faint smile before leaving.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Livy. Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko at napakurap. His face... he looked so serious. Minsan ko lang nakikita si Robi na sobrang seryoso. Hindi ako sanay.

"Did you see his face?" I whispered at Livy.

"Yes," suminghap siya. "Did something happen? Was it because of the call?"

Umiling ako dahil hindi ko naman alam. "Ewan ko."

"You know, Robi is really scary when he's mad," Livy casually said and took a bite on her nachos again. "But you'd still feel safe because you know he will never lay a hand at you, unless you're a guy," tumawa siya.

Dumiretso ako sa office nang matapos ko ang digital output ko sa design na pinapagawa ni Ma'am Delado. I got the flashdrive where I saved it before proceeding to her office.
