"Yasmin!" tumigil ako at nilingon si Benjamin. "Why are you in a rush?"

"I have errands to run. Bakit?" I looked at my wrist watch and blew a breath when I saw that it's almost 4 pm.

E nag-promise pa ako sa anak ko na sasamahan ko siya sa park. Tas sobrang late ko na pala!

Bago pa man makapagsalita si Benjamin, inunahan ko na siya.

"Sorry, Benji. But I really need to go. Let's talk some other time,"

Nakita kong sabay lumabas ng conference room sina Engineer De Marco at Engineer Lisel Castro. Engineer Castro was giggling like a teenager while saying something to Reeve. Naghaharutan na naman ata sila. I gave Benjamin a nod before leaving.

"I thought you're coming home late, Mommy," Kiel walked to me and opened his arms. Agad ko siyang binuhat at hinalikan sa pisngi.

"I'm so sorry, anak. Mommy's meeting got extended. Forgive me, please?" Pinupog ko ang pisngi niya ng halik.

"Stop it Mommy! Tita Liv is staring!" Parang binatang pigil sa akin ni Kiel. Nahiya ata!

I looked at Livy and laughed with her when she bursted out. Lumapit siya sa amin at guguluhin sana ang buhok ni Kiel pero umiwas ang anak ko.
