You woke with Hans gently shaking you. You opened your eyes and looked at Hans. He flashed you a smile. "Two hours to go" he said. "However you will need some food" he pointed to a little cardboard food box. Another sat in front of him.

You wiped your eyes and stretched slightly. "I hope I wasn't annoying" you said.

"not at all" Hans said. He had actually annoyed watching you sleep. You seemed peaceful and you looked adorable as you laid your head on his shoulder, your mouth slightly open.

You slowly ate the food, peeking out the aeroplane you saw it was night over. "So where are we staying?" you ask. "I didn't get the chance to see the address."

"It is the intercontinental Los Angeles Century City" he said. "4.5 stars and very close to Nakatomi Plaza"

"Sounds lovely" you said. "But strange name"

"Well yes" he said "Americans always love fancy names"

You carried on eating and put the little box on the tray in front of you. "We have time for a movie" you said.

"It had better be a good one" Hans said and leaned in his chair. You looked at the onboard movies and smiled. "Come like it hot" you said. "That's awesome"

"I have not heard of it before." he said.

"English words German subtitles?" you ask.

Hans nodded and you put it on.

Hans was a bit confused about some parts of the plot but enjoyed it and agreed it was an American classic. By the time it was over the pilot commanded for belts to be put on. Day just started to break and it was LA looked beautiful from the sky. The plane landed. Hans took your hand and kissed you gently. "Come on darling" you went red, forgetting that it was an act. You wished that Hans would kiss you like this when it wasn't an act and that you actually do start a real relationship. You got up together and left the plane, your fingers laced together. You got your things and left the airport. You caught a taxi with Hans and went to the hotel. It was large and very grand. It must be at least $100 a night. You walked towards the hotel desk and gave your name. You were given your room key and walked up to the lift with Hans, your bags in your hands.

The room was large, with only one bed, a kitchen and a balcony looking over LA. You grinned, going over to the balcony and watching the morning wake.

Hans immediately went over to the table and took out his laptop and started messaging Karl. You went over and Hans smiled slightly before quickly replying to a message. His fingers were fast at typing you noted. You sat on the bed and Hans tutted at you. "No sleep until it gets dark" he called over to you. You sighed and went over to him looking at his messaging.

"Can we go out somewhere then?" you asked.

"I'm tired of pretending to be your husband" Hans said. "May I just for a second rest"

"Oh, of course" you said, taken aback you sitting on the bed.

"Im sorry (y/n)" he said. "I am just stressed. Karl said that something has already gone wrong"

You sighed and frowned. "I'm sorry Hans" you said.

"I don't regret not coming" he said. "It is good to see the location and spend time with you"

You grinned and walked around the room. "They have us wine" you called.

"Oh good" he said. He got up and came up behind you. "I'm sorry for snapping," Hans mumbled. "I am just a little frustrated"

"Don't worry about it" you said. "You want some wine?"

"Yes please" he said and took out two glasses. You filled them, you clinked them together. You drank some. It had a nice taste, however, Hans frowned. "I never liked American wine" he said. "I prefer Spanish or Argentinian".

"I like French wine" you said. "and this one isn't too bad"

"Can we order wine?" he asked. "Because next time I want a bull bodied Argentine red." You rolled your eyes at the wine speak and took another sip. Hans went back to the laptop and quickly typed "Warum läuft alles schief, wenn ich gehe!" he shouted and smacked the table. "Verdammte Hölle".* You looked at him worried and checked the screen. It said that Joseph, your old boss, was trying to stop your heist. Karl said he was on top of the situation. Hans was stroking his beard and pacing the room. He suddenly ran over and typed ferociously. A thumbs-up emoji appeared and he grinned.

"I told them to move operations to Munich" he said simply. "Karl's brother lives there and he might be able to get him to work for us"

"Well done" you said and kissed his head. Hans raised his eyebrows and you and you went red. "This whole marriage thing is confusing" you said quickly. "I will forget we aren't married when we are just alone"

"What do we do about it then?" Hans asked, leaning back in his chair.

"Either fold or go all-in" you said

"Well what do you think?" Hans said, standing up and stalking towards you, taking a cigarette out and taking a drag. "Dealer's choice"

You frowned. "It depends." you said. "On what you think of me" you went towards the balcony.

"I think of you as a partner in more ways than one" Hans said behind you. "You are a useful asset. Strong, assertive, ravishing" he put emphasis on the final word and turned you around.

"I guess you are tired of pretending to be my husband" you said. "How about instead you be my boyfriend?"

"That sounds satisfactory" he said and kissed you gently. Unlike the other times, he had kissed you, this time it was more passionate and he pulled you into him. He let you go and you grinned.

"More wine?" you asked.

"I would love more wine" Hans said and picking you up brought you back into the room.

"You're strong" you pointed out.

"And you are light my dear" he said He set you down and poured another glass. You clicked it together again and took a sip of wine. Hans grimaced. "I was looking online and found some nice wine tasting places" he said. "Not with this rank bottle"

"Proper full-bodied Armenian wine?" you asked.

"Yes" Hans said. He snapped the laptop shut and put it in the safe. He took his coat and held out his hand. "You have today to relax with me before you start work" he said.

"Can't wait," you said and walked out with him
