Walking down the hallway, I walked past many of my pack members with blank faces staring right at me and shaking they heads. Ever since Trey left the pack, the atmosphere and connection in the pack have been different, some wants to leave the pack because of me or some just want to leave and find him and start a new pack. It was no secret that Trey was my mate, but him being pregnant was hidden even when I hurt him physically. I wasn't ready to accept being mated to the same sex, I still can't but part of me wants to try.
Walking into my office, I sat down and rubbed my face staring at the book dealing with werewolves history. Flipping through the pages, I tried to look up and find what Trey shifted to that night when he left the pack but nothing came up.
"You still didn't find anything?"looking up it was my mom. My mom knew he was my mate and that he was pregnant, I guess call it a mother's intuition. She walked and grabbed the book and put it back on the pedestal, sitting beside and hugged me while I laid my head on her shoulder.
"What have I done Ma? I finally found my mate but I treated him with no respect. I've done so much to him and me rejecting him was probably the worst decision I ever did. And now he is somewhere alone with our child." feeling a tear fall down my face, I haven't cried since my father died in a attack in our pack years ago. Many people lost loved ones, including Trey's mother. She died protecting me and Trey. The rogue grabbed her by her throat and killed her and almost kidnap Trey but my father stepped in a sacrificed himself for both of us. He injured the wolf, but died. That was the day when Trey shifted to the same figure from that night he left the pack and killed very each of the rogues leaving none of them behind. But, that day everyone was afraid of him, called him a freak and treated him like he was different.
And I was the reason.
"I understand baby, but now it's time for you make up your mind on what your gonna do when the day he comes back. You have to be strong for the pack even if they don't feel you deserve to be Alpha. What you did was wrong and hurtful, but now you have to suffer the consequences of your actions. I don't know what happened to pack's crops and my beautiful flowers, but I feel it have something to do with Trey leaving. We have to talk to the elder about it when she comes out" nodding my head, I tried to talk to my wolf Xinx but he ignored me. He's been like this since Trey left. I tried again, but he just growled in annoyance so I left him alone.
"But when will he come back Ma?"shrugging her shoulders she rubbed my back while I put my head down sighing. In a short time things are unraveling. Some pack members are questioning my authority, some have left, were running out of food that's been saved since we can't leave out to hunt with the vines in the way.
I messed up bad.
"Only thing we can do right now is wait for the Elder to come to us. She's been in her home since Trey left, things are getting worse. I miss your father right now, but I have to be strong and I'll continue to be strong for you and the pack. But your not alone baby." Hearing a knock on the door, I told my Beta to come in since I know his knocks. He walked in with someone else behind, the elder. Getting up, we all bowed to her with respect and she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the werewolves history book and went towards a page that had a symbol that looked familiar
"You wanted to know what Trey is? Are you prepared for what comes with this information?"nodding my head, she put her hand over the symbol and she start speaking the language that Trey was speaking when he said that statement cutting his ties with the pack. The symbol glowed and then I felt a shockwave of energy causing me to open my eyes and see a blinding light. Groaning, I got up see darkness at first, but then I seen a woman figure with blinding light around her and I somehow started walking to her.
It was the Moon Goddess
"Hello my child. I see your seeking answers to question about your mate and your future with him. Well let me begin with, you will not see him for a while. He's hurting still, and now a darkness is consuming him every day. That darkness is his pain. Now for what he is, he is a Lycanthrope Faye. He is two species to make as one, but both of them have their own feelings dealing with you. He's a ancient type of werewolf from 300 years ago. Trey's wolf was passed down through his family tree until it stop with his great grandfather. So does your werewolf. They were mates,but when both your great grandfather and his great grandfather died, the spirits lost their memories but the connection is still strong enough to pull them back together again. But since you hurt him, you caused something that you will have to fix with the Trails. The Faye, she was a queen of mystical creatures and she was in love with another Faye, but something happened between them which caused problems and never solved it,so their spirit follow through both of you and Trey family tree." walking around I tried to wrap my mind around what I'm hearing right now.
"But what that have to do with leaving the pack? How long will he be gone? What is the Trails?" rubbing my face out of frustration. I started feeling Xinx frustration also because he was growling and pacing back and forth.
"It is up to him. When he feels he is ready to forgive you the vines will go back. But there is something you must know. He is also part of a prophecy, and you as well. When the first Blood Moon arise at the night, the King Of The Wolves will arise to defeat the King of The Darkness, A Vampire named Vlad Sventer. Every 400 years a Lycanthrope Faye and it's mate must merge together to create the King Of The Wolves , though, the elder will inform you the rest." making me think about the Blood Moon. The Blood Moon is the strongest because it heightens a Alpha & Luna with the pack strength and agility. But it comes with a side effect, If the wolf is not in a pack or strong enough to control the power, they will be turned into a rogue. Listening to the Moon Goddess,she continued
"What I can tell,is that you will go through trails to be prepared for the confrontation between you and your mate, but also the wolf and Faye. Each one have they problems to solve in order for you all to be able to trust each other to be able to merge. But before you go, I want you to take him with you for he is the key for your last confrontation." turning around a male figure landed on the in front of me closing his wings and seeing them be morphed into clothes. He walked up in front of me and I seen that same symbol on his chest. He reached out and touched my forehead causing me to look up and feel a feeling of something. Before I could say something, I heard a baby cry in my head and that's when I heard the Moon Goddess voice
