Plot:

You and Bubby are laying down away from the group and Bubby decides to show he does have a heart... for you that is)

It had been a tiring journey trying to get to the Lamda Lab. We still have a bit to go before we reach it. Bubby seemed a bit distance from you and you wanted to know why. You understood the stress and how he doesn't fully understand these types of emotions. You smiled a bit as you followed him. "Hey Professor" you mocked a bit as he growled turning around to correct you before stopping realizing it was you. "Hello Y/n" he sighed heavily as he sat down. "Hey, are you alright?" They asked their lover again. Bubby was trying to ignore them. Hoping they would go away so the feelings in his weird brain and heart wouldn't spill out of him like a fountain. "I'm fine Y/n just a bit stressed and eager. I hear you and the others converse about the surface and I've never been there and i want to be able to experience it" Bubby said as he hid his eyes and never face his partner. Never wanting to show the amount of love in his eyes. He saw a book that stated some people can see how much someone loves another through their eyes and he wasn't taking ANYchances. Y/n looked at the male. Their boyfriend of a few years and boy was he a trip. He never really did show his love like a normal person. But it was Bubby, what would you expect? Y/n laughed a bit and sat next to him. Laying their head on the older male's shoulder. "Well Bubby, if you ever need me I'm right here" They told him kissing his cheek. Bubby blushed a lot and couldn't help it. Turning his lover's face to the side and kissing them on the lips. "I love you Y/n i may not show it but i would take a bullet for you my dear" Bubby gushed as his face flushed in a prideful and embarrassed yet love stricken way. His heart was racing as Y/n smirked at the nervous Dr. Bubby. "I love you too Bubby. How about we both stay here for now?" They asked with a wide smile and Bubby nodded eagerly. "Yes! Away from those idiots!" He exclaimed and layed down, Y/n by his side and they both cuddled into each other.
