Gman x Gender Nuetral!Reader

Plot:
You finally meet Gman and turns out that he's been watching you from afar.

"Thank you Dr. L/n"
Y/n turned around shocked and startled by the new voice. Stifly Y/n turned around meeting face to face or well face to chest, with a considerably tall, lanky and pale man. He was dressed in a blue or black looking suit and a purple or blue tie. The lighting on the man was terrible but there was one thing, his bright glowing blue eyes were vibrant and he looked dangerous. Y/n swallowed a bit as she looked in him up and down. He was those types of guys who looked weak but had all the power. Gman gave a small smile towards the woman/man/whatever you identify as. The smooth black haired male took in the familiar face. Though Gman would never admit it out loud, he had been watching them. Tommy had met them and would constantly come home chattering about the interaction he had with Y/n when Gman was home at least. Tommy bragged to Gman as if he had won a prize or something. His son held the person like a trophy for everyone to see. So naturally he made sure they would be safe, but had not taken into account that he might catch feelings. As weird as it sounds Gman watched other humans often, watching and learning from their interactions. The stunning man even learned to improve his raspy and hissing voice that made him sound so inhuman. Y/n gave a quick smile and a nervous chuckle, "Well pleasure to meet you...sir" Y/n said realizing they hadn't learned his name. Y/n couldn't stop looking at Gman's eyes. They seemed familiar as if they had seen those eyes before. Like a shadowy monster in the corner of your room as a kid.

They couldn't tell if it was just a figment of he imagination or if it were real. The face, the tie, the hair. It all looked so familiar but when had they seen him? Gman gave a soft smirk as he extended his hand. "Gman, and i do believe the pleasure is all mine" Y/n reached out and took his hand. They were smooth yet rough somehow. And he didn't shake their hand, he lifted it up to his mouth and gently kissed it before allowing Y/n's soft/calloused (describe your hands) to return to their side. Y/n's face burned as they grabbed their hand, gently stroking over thr placed he kissed it with their thumb. Y/n had never had an interaction like that and it was by far a pleasing one to them. "Hello!? Y/n!?" Tommy yelled from the other side of the house as he had ran off to get something half way through the conversation. "Yes Tommy!?" The motherly/fatherly/caregiver like person called out as they began walking. Gman staying back and watching their movement. The way their body sways, how their arms moved, even the way they spoke to Tommy. It was all so alluring to the man. "I found this!" Tommy said returning and giving Y/n a small Beyblade. It seemed pretty old but they knew it was important to Tommy so they gladly took it. "Thanks Tommy!" Y/n said giggling as the Y/h man/woman/etc shook their head with a smile. Gman's face brightened a bit as he heard the joyous laughter erupt from them. "Well, I suppose I'll be cooking dinner-" Gman began taking a deep breath. But just as he was about to finish Tommy's energetic voice chimed in. "I want to make dinner!" // Tommy: >:( anyway back to story// Gman was caught by surprise but let a small smile find its way onto his face. "Alrighty then Tommy, I suppose you'll be making dinner shortly" The 36 year old man fist pumped the air with a victorious smile. "Come on sunkist let's go!" He yelled and off to the kitchen the two went. Gman walked up behind them and gently brushed their h/l h/c hair away from their neck. Taking a strand of it and examining it in his hand before letting it fall. "Would you like to go to thr living room Dr?" He asked moving infront of them.

Y/n had tensed when he touched them but they didn't really mind it. They thought it was a weird yet caring gesture. Y/n nodded and followed the tall and lanky man infront of them to thr living room. There Y/n sat and Gman sat across from them. Y/n and Gman began having a stare down as they both were far to captivated with one another to realize what was happening or what they could do. "You have very pretty eyes" Y/n complimented as Gman closed his eyes with a soft sigh. Seemingly loving the compliment. Loving the sound of their timid yet tenacious voice. They seemed to be determined to either impress him or to get him to like them more. an chuckled airily before opening his eyes and staring back into Y/n's. "Why thank you, you have rather beautiful eyes as well, e/c eyes have always looked rather pretty. But with you they seem to be a lot more attractive" Gman said as his vocabulary never faltering as once again the Dr became flustered. Desperately wanting to cover up and hide forever. "You know Y/n, I've been watching you for quite some time." He began in a low and relaxed yet hesitant tone. "You are quite the over achiever aren't you? You can be a bit impetuous, and rash but you are smart and are quite a charmer" Gman said as he stood up looking down to the person sitting across from him. Y/n glanced curiously at him and stared, seemingly enamored with the man before them. All of a sudden it made sense. Why they were being protected, why Tommy had always been so eager for the two of them to meet. Why they've felt watched at night. "How would you like a job? Not one like this and though you are no Gordon Freeman you certainly are useful. Tommy can always come with of course" He said motioning to the boy in the kitchen making a lot of noise. "I don't see why not" Y/n said smiling happily that they'd get to see these two more. "Dinner is ready!" Tommy yelled bringing back a few plates of dino nuggies into the living room. "Thank you Tommy" Gman and Y/n said in unison as they grabbed a tray and sat next to each other. This was going to be a long and interesting ride.
