"Excitement and determination gleamed in 5-year-old Itachi's eyes as he called out, 'Mother!' His small form dashed forward toward his mother, yearning for her guidance. 'Teach me a new jutsu!'
Sakura, turning her attention to her eager son, observed the strong determination within him. A gentle smile graced her lips as she knelt down, her emerald eyes filled with maternal warmth. 'Teach you a new jutsu, huh?' Her words were laced with affection. 'How about you ask your father this time around?'"
Confusion flickered across young Itachi's face, puzzlement etched in his innocent features. "Father? But, father isn't even..." His voice trailed off, his eyes widening as he spotted his father emerging from their home. "Dad!" Itachi's legs carried him swiftly towards Sasuke, and with a leap, he found himself enveloped in his father's strong embrace.
Sasuke, his heart warmed by this moment with his son, held him close and replied, "So you want to learn a new jutsu? Well, I suppose I can teach you the very first jutsu your grandfather taught me and your late uncle." His words resonated with a sense of legacy, passing down the family's cherished knowledge.
Itachi's face beamed with excitement, his young heart brimming with anticipation.
Sasuke's smile mirrored his son's enthusiasm. "In that case, let's head to the training grounds." He began walking, carrying Itachi in his arms, and then turned to Sakura. "Are you coming with us?"
Sakura's cheeks flushed with a delicate shade of pink, and she gently declined, her voice tender. "I have to review some papers from the clinic, besides..." Her smile radiated warmth. "I want you guys to have a father and son moment." Her love and support were evident in her words.
"Very well, we'll be back before dinner," Sasuke assured Sakura as he started walking away with Itachi in his arms.
Itachi turned his attention toward Sakura, his small hand waving at her.
"Have fun, you guys!" Sakura's parting words were filled with warmth as she waved back, watching her husband and son embark on their journey.
A tranquil hush enveloped father and son as they distanced themselves from their home.
Sasuke broke the silence, his voice gentle and filled with curiosity. "Son, what's the reason behind wanting to learn a new jutsu?"
Itachi contemplated for a moment before answering, "Well, I get bored learning about chakra control and shuriken practice... I also want to join the academy." His youthful aspirations and desires painted a picture of the future he envisioned for himself.
Sasuke was taken by surprise. "Join the academy? But you're only five years old."
Itachi's determination shone through as he responded, "Yeah, but the sooner I graduate, the sooner I get to go on missions with you, Dad!"
Arriving at the training grounds, Sasuke sighed, gently setting Itachi down and patting his head with a smile. "You're still too young, Itachi. Enjoy your childhood. The time when you and I go on missions together will come at its own time... there's no need to rush it." His wisdom and care for his son were evident in his words.
