That's how I felt
I was on my own, everything that has ever happened to me is for my own good, guess it's what I get for leaving home thinking I could handle the real world after being warned multiple times. My mom was right, she's always been right.
Smoke had been gone a little bit over 70 days, they locked him up and revoked his bond. I cried so much the first week he went away mainly because I didn't know what I was going to do next. My baby's father was locked up awaiting trial for murder, I was pregnant and for the first time in my entire life I was on my own. I remember calling Celest that week, I needed someone wise to talk to
The main thing I recalled from our talk was "It's time to put on your big girl panties" And so I did. I cut the sad shit out, got up and started working on this business I had in mind. I got it up and running within 4 weeks, selling bundles and hair supplies brought in a bunch of revenue so money wasn't a problem, even though Smoke insisted that I use his bank accounts I refused to use money that he worked hard for.
I was doing good, days were flying by it almost seemed like time was skipping. Until the baby shower, I nearly cried the whole day even though I tried my hardest to be happy. I'm sure everyone at the party understood my pain though.
"You okay?"Probably was the most asked question that day. Luckily I had Dime and Santana by my side they were making me smile.
With a blink of an eye 70 more days had gone by, my buzz on the internet had gotten bigger, I assumed it's because millions of people wanted to stay updated on Dave's life. It was kinda crazy because I, myself didn't even know what was going on with Dave's trial, sadly, he didn't either.
Every time I spoke to him he wouldn't speak about his trial, in fact he never made our conversations about himself all he ever talked about is me. Asking questions like "Did you eat? How's the baby? How you been feeling lately? What you been doing?"He expected me to answer in full details too
