I walked through the crowded cafeteria I tapped my finger tips against the bottom of my tray as I examined each table for an empty seat, some Summer Walker was blasting in my headphones so I didn't hear a thing but her voice and a nice mellow beat. I enjoyed listening to music especially at school it allowed me to cast out all of the noise around me as unrealistic as this sounds I wish it could cast out physical contact too
Once I spotted a seat I started to walk toward it, just as I was about to set my tray down it came splattering all of my shirt, A very loud gasp came from my lips before I looked up from my soaked top and at Lizzy, Lizzy absolutely liked nothing about me she always made sure she ruined my mood if she could. It all started this year honestly for a reason that I was unaware of. She'd always just mug me, then came the slick remarks. Lately she'd been getting more and more physical like shoving into me or slapping something out of my hand but today she'd gone over board.
I froze, I could feel the heat rising on my cheeks , Mortified, I owed my head so that no one could see my face, I felt as though everyone in the room was staring at me, My cheeks were burning up I wouldn't be surprised if they caught fire. I turned hastily and ran out of the cafeteria, feeling the embarrassment follow me
I didn't bother going further in the school I simply stormed out of the building. I wanted to fight but I just couldn't find the confidence to go back in there and start a riot
With my headphones still in my ears I stormed down the street I had no intentions on returning to school today but I couldn't go home so I decided to stop at the corner store
