Chapter 21

Chapter 21 Zack Pov

 

We have been in the hospital for two weeks now. Any time now Taylor will be able to leave. The doctors said that they wanted Taylor to rest and make sure she is fit to go, both physically and mentally. We have had meating alone and together with psychologists. Taylor has also meet with some gynecologists to make sure everything is okay and she is healthy.

 

Most of the time we been with Lily and Taylor parents. Dean comes in when he can, which is nearly everyday but he has to get some stuff for his university. Chris and all our friends have called us and made sure we were okay. Chris keeps telling Taylor that if she needs her she be out on the first plane to Australia, but we tell her she doesn't need to. We said if anything gets worse we'll pay for her to come out. We don't want her stressing.

 

The media are anxiously waiting outside for us to come out. After the Ellen interview aired, the worlds media and fans have become more supportive. When the news of the crash came out  many of the world were shocked. Especially since the person who crashed into us was a paparazzo trying to get a picture.

 

The police have charged him for the crash. We had our lawyers handle everything. The police said we have to make a statement but we don’t need appear in court if we don’t want to. With the hype around the case they think he may just plead guilty due to all the evidence against him.

 

People have been supportive and tweeting sweet kid words wish Taylor to get better. Many other performers we have sang with or meet have sent messages to us wishing us to get better. People online have been trending #getbettertaylorandzack. We still have those annoying trolls who say ‘we deserve this’. We just ignore them and just live our lives. The media doesn’t know about Charlie yet. And hopeful they won’t or else this will go ten times crazy.

 

When we leave, Management want want us to talk to the media so we address the rumors and then we will go back to our hotel and have some time to ourselves, so that mean the Zoo trip with Lily. She’s excited about that. Everyday she asks when are we going. We keep telling her after Taylor get's out of the hospital. I know when Lily asks Taylor gets upset. She just wants to leave already.

 

“Zacky, can we watch TV.” I nod and put on the TV. Lily sits at the end of Taylor's bed now watching the old Simpsons reruns on the TV. I sit on the bed waiting for Taylor to finish changing. Today we are finally leaving for the hotel. 

After a few minuets Taylor comes out in dark wash jeans, one of my white T-shirts and a black and cream cardie over it. She has the black leather combat boots on, she’s had them for 4 years. They are now all trashed up but she will never get rid of them.

 

When she walks over to me I hug her. On the way home, we are going to the jewelers with our parents and Lily. We plan to get a small angle figurine and have charlie engraved on the front. Taylor’s Mum and Dad said that they wanted to pay for some of it too. They wanted to honor their grandchild too.

 

“Honey” I look and find the nurse who helped me when I woke up, Margaret. She is in her late 50s. Her hair is turning grey and some lines are showing on her brow and around her eyes. “I am so glad you are better now. And I’m also glad that you both are okay. I am very sorry of your loss honey. But you both look like you will be together for both your lives so you will other chances.” Taylor nods to her and smiles. Everyone here has been helpful and sweet. Margaret has helped us the past two weeks. She told us her story of how she lost her unborn child to an abusive partner. She always says we both look in love or how we’ll always be together.
